Man Antonio brown was special. I remember that catch and run like it was yesterday. Crowd was absolutely ELECTRIC. Truly one of my best memories and I couldn’t have had a better first game experience
That last touchdown by Carr. OMG! That's why I fell in love with the him! Still have total faith he will get his SB ring. Awesome game! Thanks for the this!!!
Sad thing is if Brown scored the TD at the end, then without a doubt this game would have went to OT. While this year in particular was a better year for their defense, they were still horrendous when it came to finishing games.
I was at this game as well, with my father in law. We’re Hardcore Steelers fans and the games against the Raiders are always great. We’ve lost to really bad Raiders teams! I’ll be going to the Steelers game against the Raiders this year on Christmas Eve.
Same here. First game ever and it’s a very special memory now. Favorite moment was either the kickoff playing renegade or browns catch and run at the end
Yea dude I’m still confused why Del Rio was firing his staff. They got rid of the Defensive Coordinator too it was a disaster I read that Del Rio had the same problem in JacksonVille

Steelers for some reason always play bad on the west coast recently. It was more the tie with the Browns that came back to bite them and kept them out of the playoffs. If they had won that, they would have won the division
USA Citizen You go look at his stats. if you watched him play, you would understand fearing to turn the ball over every single snap, knowing damn well he wasn’t going to win games for you, nor was he going to lead your team down field in needed situations. Look at the wild card game against the bengals in 2015, he threw a pic 3 plays in to the drive, forced Ben to come in injured, and win the game.
Week after week, the ref's prove they are incompetent, they gave the raiders chances to win. I say every year the ref's need to be reevaluated, mental capacity. To start.
I'M A DIE HARD MEMBER OF THE LOS ANGELES RAIDERS NATION 4 LIFE!!! ORIGINAL LOS ANGELES SUPER BOWL XVIII WORLD CHAMPIONS LOS ANGELES RAIDERS!!! EST. IN 1982!!! (RIP) TODD CHRISTENSEN
Even when Mike Mitchell makes a play, he still finds a way to do something wrong. He forces a fumble and then celebrates while the ball is live. Probably my least favorite Steeler ever (not counting Limas Sweed).
Like that big hit on Joe Haden who had an interception in the end zone against Chargers dislodging the football. The Chargers winded up scoring a TD on the very next play giving them hope in an otherwise blowout, Steelers ended up losing that game by 3. Oh by the way, Missed the playoffs by one game, top offensive team in the NFL and top 5 defense. Last 4 games of the season did not a true healthy running back, the weirdest thing.
@@hatcher2262 exactly. You could come up with a bunch more too. Mitchell never met a tackle a couldn’t miss and never misses a chance to take a bad angle. Did that Chargers game happen in 18? Cuz I remember that season turning on a Xavier Grimble fumble at the 1 when he was going in and it ended up a touchback. I think against the Raiders. But I’m sure Mitchell played his part to blow it too.
@@pathutchison7688Statically, the 2018 Steelers were the best team in the NFL, but the turnovers killed them at the worst times, game changing turnovers. All turnovers are not equal. There were too many bad turnovers, Cleveland, Denver, New Orleans, 3 games that should have been comfortable wins. The Steelers brought in Xavien Howard and Justin Simmons for a pre-draft work out, but winded up drafting Artie Burns and Sean Davis. That was a big miss.
@@hatcher2262 I'll reply to this entire thread as it has several good points. I didn't dislike Mitchell more than some. I was psyched when we got him, then I realized Mike made his reputation on head-hunting plays that now draws fouls. My least favorite was probably someone like Will Allen, the 'tackle after allowing the first down' machine. Tomczak and Jarvis Jones in the running, too. That was the Denver game when Grimble fumbled, a play that just disgusts me. 2018 was a mess as a whole- that play, the blown pick against the Chargers plus two major missed calls, the ridiculous calls in the Saints game, Boswell with the uncharacteristic bad season- the idea of NFL "soft scripting" firmed up. Kevin Byard was drafted 6 picks after Davis as well.
THE RAIDERS RUNNING BACK LATAVIUS MURRAY'S FUMBLE RIGHT AFTER RAIDERS CORNERBACK DAVID AMERSON PICKED OFF STEELERS QUATERBACK BEN ROTHLISBERGER. WAS AN ENOURMOUS MOMENTUM KILLER IN THIS GAME.
How in the world could the raiders of lost this game everything in the universe was on there side that shows me some how someway the football GODS do not like this team I MEAN this is the perfect example of why the raiders are never gonna be a winning ORGANIZATION impossible you had the talent in this game to end it soooooooo easy.
3 minutes left in the game, Steelers have a 7 point lead and the ball, Roethlisberger is out,, Landry Jones is in. Why the fuck is this QB allowed to throw the ball at this point?
THE RAIDERS SHOULD HAVE GIVEN A FEW MORE CARRIES TO FULLBACK MARCEL REECE. THROW REECE A FEW SHORT PASSES TOO!!! RAIDERS FULLBACK MARCEL REECE WAS A BIG PLAY MAKER!!! RN4L!!! LA CHAPTER EST. 1982!!! (RIP) LYLE ALZADO
omg the false start at 1:20:35 is BS im not even a fan of either team.. but some false starts are weak ass calls, be barely moved and it didnt even alter the play or make the defense jump, good lord
THE RAIDERS SHOULD HAVE DOUBLE TEAMED STEELERS WIDE RECEIVER ANTONIO BROWN IN THIS GAME. IF TJ CARRIE WASN'T INJURED WE COULD HAVE HAD SAFETY CHARLES WOODSON MOVE TO CORNERBACK & ATTEMPT TO COVER & CONTAIN STEELERS 1# WIDE RECEIVER ANTONIO BROWN. BECAUSE AB SIMPLY TORCHED THE RAIDERS SINGLE COVERAGE IN THE FIRST HALF FOR 10 CATCHES & 100 SOMETHING RECEIVING YARDS WITH 14 TARGETS.
I'm not going to say this to be mean or anything. I think it's just safe to say is that even though with/without AB on the Pittsburgh Steelers, I think he can still do great with them. No arguments about this one.
