This video was an inspiration to get atak’s on my ram. The first time I saw this video I didn’t even have a ram 😅

Best sounding ram on RU-vid!! The long tubes and Borland make a helluva difference over cutting the resonators and putting a cherry bomb on.

that is the perfect system everybody's been looking for systems like these are in very high demand to have on a nice truck or any truck for that matter.

Noone seemed to of noticed but he has a custom license plate that says like "DQO S55" so someone trying to read your plate would be unable to without good vision and being extremely close. Smart guy

This is the best sounding 4th gen ram I have ever heard. I've got a 2013 ram sport with catless y pipe, borla xr1 muffler, resonator deletes, and borla 5" tips but I'm thinking about switching to your setup now

Probably one of the best systems for a new Ram. Sounds really good.

If you have already done a remote start once and shut it off with the key fob and then try to restart it, it won't let you. Or if it has less than 1/4 tank of gas and below freezing out, it also won't remote start. Or in your case, the hood is open, it won't. Sounds badass man!!

Sounds damn good. I purchased a brand new 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab with the 5.7L Hemi and it has the 8 speed automatic (love it). At the dealership before I had even signed the papers we were on the internet and looking at custom exhausts and outside of a muffler delete your system is the best sounding and what I wanted to do. That being said, less then 14 hours after I purchased it I had it at a local muffler shop getting the muffler cut off and a Y pipe welded in its place. Total cost was $130 and I know I could have got it done cheaper by simply calling around to other shops but I wanted it done immediately LOL. I love the sound of it, I was going to install a custom exhaust later but have decided against it, it sounds to good as is. It turns heads and I get lots of compliments!! Down side, my MPG is garbage because I'm always getting on the throttle :-) Anyone considering doing the same thing I highly recommend it! Just have it done by someone that knows what they are doing so if you think its to loud you can have your stock muffler put back in. I have many videos on my channel demonstrating how mine sounds. Granted IF I had the extra money laying around I would have invested in the setup you have. Take Care.

No this is not a direct fit. Everything had to be custom fabricated. The only thing that was used was the actual mufflers. Everything else is custom.

did you only get the exhaust or did you get the muffler as well? Also, how much did the the exhaust cost you in total?

sounds good looks like you have the mufflers mounted in the back by the bumper instead of in front of the rear axle do you think it makes it sound better

So are the tips the new mufflers or is it straight piped with the tips swapped out? I'm trying to do the same thing to my 2012 ram 1500 sport.

Those hemi's just have the best note, even out of the factory. I have a 2015 Mustang GT 5.0. I listened to all kinds of cat back syetems and nothing comes close to this. I looked at the RAM trucks. If I had more money, I would buy one also.!

I found out that them X-pipes has a way of making a true dual setup not as throaty and making things a little quieter! BUT that truck will pull way harder speeding up vs not having a X-pipe on.

Do you know where a guy could find the mufflers from the S-type? Looking to do the same set up but can't find the mufflers for the S-type or the 5" black chrome tips sold individually

Love the sound. I have the exact same truck, canadian version. same colour as well. Thinking about the Borla S type because I had it on my mustang, but now i'm thinking the ATAK.

What's your opinion on GMC's 5.3 ecotech? I'm trying to decide which truck to choose between a 2016 Ram 1500 R/T, or a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab with the 5.3. I love the exterior or the Sierra compared to the ram, and I'm fine with either interior, but can't decide against the 5.7 hemi or 5.3 ecotech. I know the hemi has more horsepower and torque but I'm still not sure of its enough to where I'de be better off with it than to the Sierra. If I could get the 6.2 In a regular cab Sierra I'de choose that one in a heartbeat.

true dual systems do not have xpipe because the exhaust gasses from. otherwise manifolds would run into each other therefore makes it a regular dual system. may as well run a y pipe

I just got a 2016 GMC sierra. My 2013 was having to many issues had 190k miles on it. Going take out the cats and put a X pipe with true duals 7 inch tips headers and intake plus program only has 20 miles so going wait other 500. I think also a 8 bds lift with 38 inch nittos

Borla "s type muffler" part number is 40842s its 177$ on amazon it sounds the same really i made a custom offroad (no cats) Y pipe with a catback with this muffler its loud af but sounds great

Hey man I love the setup you have and the sound it produces!! I have a 2015 ram myself and i want to set it up with the atak exhaust! But ram's don't have atak, they only have s-type which is kinda weak.... The one u have on is from a jeep SRT 8 right... But do you know any thing about the exhaust like was it made for jeep SRT 2015 or 2010?

That's the first dry shaft I seen with no rust on ram 1500.

I have a single cab ram 1500 2014. I have the intuner with a hemifever tune. It will fly. But now I know what I'm doing next because this sounds beautiful. Any reason why you're going air raid and not K&N for the cai?

If it has an X pipe it isn’t a true dual. The term true dual means the airflow doesn’t cross anywhere behind the cats.

Sounds awesome...just picked up a '15 Ram with the Hemi today and trying to figure out what to do. I won't go this extreme with the exhaust...was thinking K&N Cold Air Intake and free flowing muffler....

I got the same truck standard cab and all. Last time I checked Borla only offered two models to choose from. The touring and the S type. Is the one you installed an S-type? Also are you happier with this more over than the Flowmaster?

Does it though your check engine light on with it not having a catalytic converter?

Korey i have a 2014 ram rt and i am thinking on doing a muffler delete and i knw thw piping on my truck is not stock other than thw stock big muffler they usually come with and it doesn't have the tail pipe resinators how is your set up with muffler and all that oh almost for got and it has the stock cats I believe right after the headers

I wanna do a true dual as well and delete the stock huge muffler ans use a borla pro xs muffler its a dual in dual out would that work out in your video look like you have all pipes and no muffler looks like but i am pretty sure i am wrong i am trying to find a good sound and set up
