Fearless is just the right way to describe her. Note when they go into "fours" - usually someone starts off with a pattern and others follow for a while with their variations, and the thing evolves with some changes - note about the second time around, when it comes to Rita's turn, she does change the pattern [what she plays is absolutely right] and catch the look on John Allred's face - pure admiration...

Yes, Sergi Vergés is a great musician. He also plays the trombone and tube. This arrangement was made on a Joan Chamorro theme as he said in an interview: by a girl who plays incredibly well.

@@paulsj9245 Thanks Paul. Saw one she did on a roof top in the evening. Beautiful tune and setting was gorgeous. The family was involved in that one I believe and another beautiful young lady with dark hair. Should have saved that one. Miles of smiles from the band and kids and guys and guests!! - as one of my good friends likes to say...miles of smiles. Oh yes, I should mention the Guy in Black, Senor Director - that multi-talented guy.

+Gaylord Buzzard Can't answer officially, but I'm going to put my two Pfennig down. Their history reflects that life comprises changes. Me thinks they are pupils who take classes in the music school, and eventually, school is over, jobs or unversity take their time, or some family relocation may happen. Also, musical development or changing interests may lead them to other places. In some older videos, the age is shown (now only on the SAJB blog). Eva Garin (tb) and Arnau Julia (d) were probably the eldest members until about 22 ys, but a more common limit seems to be 19-20. Anyway, the band is in a constant development - juveniles come and go. Remember young Max sitting in the second row with his huge french horn five years ago - and how competent he performs in Wave now! I love to see younger siblings arrive and grow into the roles of their forerunners. The band may right now have a generation change, but, (but!), I don't worry about more good things to come as long as Joan Chamorro and the teachers team continue their brilliant work - and the parents support their children to conquer the world!!
