A quick installation video for the JDM Rear Aero Splash guards. I searched the internet and could only find a few photos of these, not an actual install video so I apologize if one is out there that I may have missed.
The installation is extremely simple. If you want to make your life easy, grab the following before getting started:
Jack and Jack Stands (makes it painless, but if you had a right angled screw driver you could do it but it is a tight fit)
Lug nut wrech (if removing rear wheels)
Wheel chocks for the front wheels (safety first)
Philips Head Screwdriver
Flat Head Screwdriver
Your automotive cleaning agent of choice to make sure the bumper is spotless
Get the car up on the stands, chocks under front wheels, rear wheels off to prep. Clean the back bumper under the rear quarters where these are going.
-Install the threaded clips, one on the L-Bracket and one on the bumper cover itself.
-Install the L-Bracket into place with one of the included clips.
-Get the splash guard bolted into place loosely just to test mount.
-Double check fitment so you know how you should press them on.
-Remove the backing from the adhesive on the backside of the splash guard.
-Press the splash guard into place, give firm contact for at least 10 seconds. It is important to get this right on the first try, moving it around afterwards will be a giant pain.
-Tighten down the bolts on the guard.
-Install the last clip on the underside of the splash guard to secure it against the bumper cover.

Thanks for the guide helped to understand where everything went, just installed mine but you can actually do without removing the wheel as the bolt is a hex head.. just needs small spanner.

Thanks for the vid! Awesome tutorial. I was able to do it without removing the wheels. I used an 8MM wrench to tighten the bolts.

Do the Subaru rear spats that subispeed sells work with these JDM splash guards?

i ordered a set off of eBay got a screaming deal but realized after getting that there were no brackets. any suggestions for mocking up a bracket? would it be possible to get the dimensions of bracket? it appears to hang about an inch below stock fender line? thanks in advance for any input.

Is it just the one screw and bracket inside the wheel well? Seems like an easier install than the usdm gaurds

Does this do what the mudflaps are meant to do which means you dont need mudflaps?

Not really, they're more cosmetic than anything and make the body lines of the car match up to the side skirts.
