The panel blew out. Apparently it happens to others. After studying and buying parts, the DIY repair was surprisingly fast. Worked well. Purchased from toyotapartsdeal.com part no 71868-0E100-A0 part no 71812-0E180-A0
I think mine came apart because I have to step out so far away from the step. If I don’t I will burn my leg and I don’t use the step. I’m short and a bit over weight
@@DrBDIY yes, already have. The only breaks are at the two mounting points, left front part of the seat. The two pieces are still fastened securely together. A screw through the center of the clips should do. If it fails, I will order parts.
Search for Toyota with your model number and parts list. You should find a site that lists parts and numbers. I doubt the highlander panel fits the sienna.
