Was reading comments first to see if I wanted to keep watching....then the door/liftgate sound made me reach to close my door.....but I'm at a desk. Badass build man! Can't wait to get started on my WRX.
Awesome seats! Love the progress.I am looking into getting some Bride or Sparco seats soon. I would recommend a Schroth quick fit harness system to anyone reading this. They don't require a harness bar and have anti-submarine technology.
You have such a nice ride compared to all these fake RU-vid car enthusiasts, really humble and love the content man, so disappointed to see tj hunt get caught up with the fame .
Sean Smile I'm not saying their not into cars, it's just that now it's all about the money for them , how to get more money off RU-vid , what to put out to get more views . Like when they first started everyone can relate to them now it's just so different , check the comments on TJ hunts new video everyone feels the same way.
Hey man just wanted to say that I love you videos and find them super inspiring. I'm currently in the process of getting a newer wrx hatch. I really do appreciate the time and effort you put in behind the lens and computer. I dream one day I will be able to buy a nice camera and get into cinematography and building a race car like you👍🏼
Anybody come back to watch thos and compare how different Dustin's life is. New Type R, track ready Evo, WRX being fixed after the accident and new girl!! Crazy how much has happened!
Keep up the great work man! Loving how your car is turning out! I remember when I first started watching your vids when you had the white civic in the back! You came a long way man! And it's nice to see that your gf is supportive of your passion! She's a keeper!
HAHA! Love the video man. I never did one with the install on my car but had tonsssssssss of people ask for info. Have fun on the passenger side because you have the take out the sensor on bottom of seat to get the airbag light off.
You should really look into a cage. Harness bars and racing seats are dangerous. In a rollover it will just keep you in place and compress your spine. At least with the stock seats you will be thrown to the side and your head will not be smashed. Just something to keep in mind for a roll cage upgrade. Seats look amazing tho.
@@EZhurst Odd you say that as you think Jeep would be getting sued left and right since there are literally 100s of thousands of vehicles on the road with a roll bar with very little to no padding. Roll cages are only unsafe for a driver if the cage is anywhere near their head. A good four point behind the driver is safer than no bar at all.
tormentedsoulz666 Im the only person I know that has a Subaru. I live out here in the country in a one light town. Lol we mostly got trucks and American around here. But I thought I would try this Subaru out
Hey man I just subscribed I have 6300 saved up I'm trying to buy my WRX STI 2015 in January I'm trying to put 10k down so my payments will be lower but you inspired me to get this car man I love your set up I mean I was going to get the car before but you just persuaded me a lot more lol dope build dude what's your IG so I can follow your build
I don't think it's safe to have passengers at the back.. in case you got in to an accident their head will be smashed with that solid pipe crushing their skull
You are overreacting. Noones gonna crush their skull on the bar. It will be painful though. Its an easy fix doe. You just need to get rollcage foam covers. Boom easy cheap fix lol.
I love your Subie bro its lit I'm gonna get a Subie to and the first thing I'm going get is straight pipe exhaust then get turbo then my racing seats make my own splitter after I get my widebody then put carbon fiber wing then wrap the rest of the car in pearl white with red or chrome red
looks great!!! always excited to see what's more to come. question for you. have you done anything about your pitch stop mount. i keep hearing about them breaking
Really nice! However I am wondering how you handled the airbag warning light? Didn't see the connection of the harness finished... and does that affect the rest of the airbag system? I would love to change my seats but I am affraid to have the light on and of course that the rest of the system may be affected.... thanks for sharing!
Would passengers still be able to sit in the back with the harness bar? Your car is sexy Af dude, I had the chance of meeting you here in Cali when the Ontario event took place with all the RU-vidrs but i wasn't too familiar with your content but now I've seen a couple videos and you put out some good stuff man.
great vid like always your car looks amazing so far man and its always important to make sure your girl likes it too if she's gonna be riding with you 😂😂
Hey wats up Dustin!!!!!! Man bro first let me tell you that you do an awsome work on your videos! Well i got a question for you, i just got a 2015 wrx and im planning to do some mods and i need aome help on some parts. I was going to ask you wat kind of intake do i need and wat kind of exhaust? I was between the expreme or the Tomei. Wich one is better? And wat kind of j pipe? To make this short, i want my car to sound just like yours lol im not trying to copy but i really like how it sounds. And on wich website can i get all the parts? Thanks man and keep it up! Peace!
WOW you skipped the best part! I just wanted to see how long it was going to take you guys to get the harness to the right length and stuff since that took us like 3 hours in Tampa when we picked up the FRS lol
In the end of you doing all of this how much did it cost you to do this? Because I really want to do this in my wrx but I don't know what to get and how much it will cost me for everything
if thats a 4 point harness without ASM technology, you might want to consider running a 5 point or 6 point. a 4 point w/o ASM will allow you to 'submarine' in your seat, putting you in great danger.
Hey man, I know I'm a little late to the party on this video, but quick question: How tall are you? I have been shopping/researching around for seats for my 2017 WRX for a while now and have narrowed it down to the Sparco Evo II or Evo II US, though I can't figure which one. I'm built very similar to you I think (I.E. tall at 6'1", broad shouldered, but skinny) and I was just wondering how that seat fits you. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks!
