2016/10/01 - Ontario Hwy 417 Ottawa at Dusk 

I almost always take Hwy 7 back to the GTA from Ottawa.

AsphaltPlanet1 I see but every time we get to and from Ottawa, we use the 416.

Hwy 7 and either Hwy 37 or the 115 is considerably shorter than the route via the 416.

AsphaltPlanet1 You mean Highway 35, not 37.

AsphaltPlanet1 Whatever but my father likes the 416. If they four lane a highway from Ottawa to Peterborough, we would use that instead.

DanielMar 1228 good catch! That lighting is unique to the 417. I’ve seen it in New York and Michigan though. I like the maple leafs that were added to the light poles too.

I almost always drive through Ottawa when I return from Quebec. It's a nice change from the 401.

I do the same when I go to Montréal. I tend to take the A40 to go and the A20 when I am back. It's a detour but I like to do it .... as it is less repetitive. I even took the A55 once by the Laviolette Bridge and Switched from the North to the south shore :)

yeah, i agree. I almost never take the same way to Quebec City as I take on the way back home either. A-20 and A-40 are nice alternates of each other.

What footage?

The Katy, some of the downtown freeway loop, Us-59, and some other stuff. To be honest, I didn’t have the best weather the day that I was there.

I heard about the weather too and I really hate bad weather. :(

And I didn't remember what day it was.
