It's time to start off 2024 with a bang, so today I'm opening a box of 2016 Aficionado! The set has a very distinct look. And while the rookie class isn't the greatest, it does have a lot of very solid players, and Aficionado has the very cool Power Surge insert set.

That was a fun box! Kinda makes me wish I picked one up during Black Friday. I bet that auto would have been a much better pull when this product first released!

Sweet product. Back in 2019, I bought a box from a LCS in Renton, WA. Opened it and found a 1/1 gold power surge demar. I sold it long ago and someone now has it up on eBay! 😆
