Teen Driver mode is already available in other models such as the new 2016 Malibu. If you are curious about it, go to your local dealership and sit in one. It will be the same thing.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but another difference on the 2017 is the "SS" at the bottom of the steering wheel has been changed to the word "FIFTY". Small detail but I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet.

It is 100% accurate. I have a 2017 2SS and the "FIFTY" is at the bottom of the steering wheel. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first but now I love it.

I've been told by three dealerships that 2017's can't be ordered from Chevrolet until mid-August at the earliest and that the first production units wouldn't be available until at least October. How do you already have a 2017?

+Kevin Clouse I took delivery of my 2017 on 4th July weekend. The dealerships are giving you the wrong information. You might want to talk to some dealerships outside of your area but 2017s are on the lot. I ordered mine back in May and it was the first 17 in the St. Louis area.

Some other things that are different:No blade spoiler optionMosaic Black is now a "standard" color while the blue is now a $395 "premium" color. Matte black rally stripes are now available to be put with the Mosaic BlackALL steering wheels have the "Fifty" marking at the bottom.

At 5:41, you stated that the 4cyl turbo had more torque than the V6. Would that make it more fun to drive? Trying to decide on 4cyl vs. 6cyl. Thanks.

+bfee20021 Yes and no as the power and performance on both cars is 100% different. The turbo power doesn't kick in until you're in the higher rpm range. But the v6 has power all over the place just like the SS

All I have to say is... I live in Toronto Canada and ordered a 2017 2LT v6 RS with sunroof and 20" 5-spoke semi-gloss black wheels. I don't even have it yet, nor have I even driven or been in a Camaro yet, and absolutely LOVE the car already!!!!

How much $$ was your black ground effects kit or whatever and where do you get all of your items? I have a white one like you I want to black out my spoiler but too scared to pull on those pressure clips myself, and the mirrors and ground effects I definitely want

Hey dude what do you think about the stereo system on these Camaros? I think they suck. I thought there was some issue with my wife's Camaro but now that I got mine, the stereo sound really is low. Very disappointed

They are better than the stock base setup, but the 2SS Bose option is better. But if you're an audio person, you're going to hate the system.

+mukio900 If the Hyundai Sonata shares the same Infinity sound system my 2012 Kia Optima had, since they are sister cars, than that is one of the best factory systems on the market. The Boston Acoustics system on my '15 SS just pales in comparison to it.

Great video. Do you know if the convertible does not have the additional oil and trans coolers that the coupe has. Also what roll over protection the convertible has. Can be an issue with some high performance driving clubs for track use. Thank you!

I destroyed my 2017 50th anniversary 2 SS. I'm so sad. My significant other thinks I should replace it with a suberu . I've had big power rigs my whole life. Insurance will replace with same So, a new 50th Anniversary 2ss 6.2 l or a lesberu? What's a hairy chested he man to do?' Please advise.

Have the rear seats changed on the 2017 vs. 2016? I test drove a 2017 today and dealer told me the 2017 rear seat is higher and further forward (i.e. less room) than 2016. I couldn't get into the 2017 rear seats. I need them for kids. Do I need to look at a 2016 instead? Sees odd they would change the rear seats. Thx.

Hey how much was your ground effects package? I'm thinking about getting the package with everything except the rear. My 2ss is all black, so it really isn't much different when you see it. I can't believe the front lip is $550. I've been considering alternatives through phastek or whatever.

When will be the manufacture production for 2017 camaro. Have they all ready started. I ordered an 2SS Convertible and I would really like to know when to expect it so far the dealer told me that they still need to come up with a casket for my car because its costume with ground effect pack. Just sold my 12 1LT, no question in my mind get the 2LT. Trust me, no brainer after comparin my 12 1LT against a co workers 10 2LT and 13 RS. Side note, it felt great driving the new 17 50th off the floor last Friday. :)

Robert Villegas I can't say if we have any dealers here in texas discounting the SS that low. I know I traveled to Houston from Dallas.. to act on the 670Hp Base GT for 39K, but ended up getting a loaded GT PP w/ 1 in lowering springs, roush Axle backs, CAI, side scoops and window covers for 37k OTD including TTL. keep watching around for neighboring dealers and I'm sure an SS will pop up in your price range soon man.

the I4 may get slightly more torque output, but the v6 is faster and has about 60 more HP. For 1500 upgrade to the v6 from the I4, i dont see the point in buying the 4. BTW i had a rental 16 v6 camaro as a rental for the week. The v6 is excellent, the suspension is quite good as well. Very impressed with that car. LOVED the sound of it. This is comming from a mustang guy. I had a 10 mustang gt w/ track pack, WRX, Cobalt SS S/c, and a 11 v6 mustang so im no stranger to performance cars. But that new v6... really its good.

I have had a 2017 2Lt on order for a month now. Apparently according to this video my colour, the hyper blue is discontinued,,,what a bummer hopefully the arctic metallic is just as nice. Great video as always. Thanks for the info, Keep making these vids.

I am looking to grab a 2016 SS In the Metallic Blue with grey stripes didn't know that it was the rarest color 😍 sweet I am going to attempt to get the ZL1 but heard about the limited amount of vehicles being made, so I will try but I will grab this one for now. Has leather with heated and cooled seats not sure if it has the magnetic shocks but the only thing I'm not happy about is it's an automatic.

+Lethalhammer I think you misinterpreted that but I could be wrong. the 1le is mainly a perf pack on top of a maro ss with wider wheels tires and 6piston brembo plus now the ELSD. not a trim package.

The 1LE pack is only available on the 1SS for the V8. You can get the 1LT or 2LT with the 1LE pack (V6 version). The V* on the 5th Gen was also limited to the 1SS. While it is a pack it is limited. No misinterpretation here... GM spells it out very clearly.

I have the 3.6L V6 and i average like 30+mpg with pure highway driving but combined tends to be about 28mpg. Surprising because the manufacturer numbers are much lower than that.

1LE SS is perfect for me, but will have to wait until pricing is announced. If the ZL1 is under 60k, which I have my doubts, then I would probably spring for it over the SS.

New to your vids. Just wanted to mention I think you do a great job with them. I'm looking into getting a 2SS and looking at what's available and at what cost, etc. I noticed mention of an optional CAI as well as a "suspension lowering kit" for the '17. Now what I'm looking for is details on like how much lower would it be vs. say the base SS or with the magnetic ride control. What really turns me off is the Run Flat Tires. I really don't want anything to do with them. Also a bummer is there's no where to store a spare. Why they give you an inflation kit complete with sealant with run flat tires, is beyond me. Still trying to figure out if the run flat tires are limited to the SS's. How about the 1LE package or the ZL1 (not that I would get a ZL1.)

Why? The V6 is also a very capable car, the entire lineup is, and having a V6 1LE makes it easier for poeple who maybe can't afford the V8 to take their car out to the track as well if they so choose. It makes for good competition between brands as well, having a V6 track capable muscle car as an option is something Ford nor Dodge have, or not to the 1LE's extent at least. Of course most poeple will choose the SS 1LE but at least they give the option for those not looking to pay so much or for any other reason, it's just another option and I think having options is great.

thats my point, it takes away from the unique ness of it, i mean its cool the v6 will be able ti handle better and everything but i bought my 1le over a regular ss for a reason because how it drives, the parts it has and because you never seen them on the road. i know one other 1le owner near me. i just feel it'll kinda ruin the uniqueness of the 1LE and they'll just be seen everywhere like base models are now

that's an incredibly dumb comment they're not going to even be the same car. you're going to have an ELSD on 1le and 6piston brembos fyi plus way wider wheels tires. both will be bad ass but v8 will be mega bad ass.

+Lethalhammer I have Micro sueded recaro seats in my 09 balt SS and I love them. it's just so much nicer than leather. not saying the recaro leather seats in the 2SS are not nice but I prefer these.

+jeff “ufcfanatic” rosenberg I am looking at it for long term driving. The recaro seat just are not as comfy for long road trips in my opinion. I am also a fairly big guy and the bolster make it hard to sit nicely. I get why they are there, for for daily driving, smh.
