I believe that I was only able to get the turn signal and the main lights to come one. I could not figure out how to operate the lights individually.

I do not remember if there was 1 or 2 fans in this light. Looking back at the pictures in this video it does look like there might have been 2 fans. one on the outside of the main bracket and 1 on the inside between the bracket and the reflectors. The one between the bracket and reflectors would not be accessible without removing the lens and separating the parts.

There is no service part number for the fan. You would have to track down another fan and open the headlight to get access to replace it. Otherwise your only option is a new/different headlight.

@@gftgrill Ouch - replacement headlight assembly is $4,300. I'm hoping somebody has a solution to replace just the fan, even with an aftermarket fan.

I removed it by cutting it off with a saw. The general recommended way is to bake the headlight to soften the glue and pull the lens off once the glue is loose.

it's either a failure in the control unit or the board/LED level. Either you will need a donor headlight with working parts or a new headlight.

@@gftgrill Is it not possible to change the daylight only ? The new costs like 1000 pounds.

@@maracze77 you can't purchase the DRL only. You must purchase a whole headlight. Everything is internal to the headlight. You can find a used/damaged light to use for Parts, assuming it's still working and swap the parts. To open two headlights and swap the components will take around 6 hours total including the time to remove and replace the light from the vehicle

@@gftgrill But u said it could be actually another problem with control unit right ? How big is the probability that I dont have to buy the whole headlight.

@@maracze77 The control unit is also internal inside of the headlight. I don't think you are going to fix this without buying a headlight. I assume that only your DRL is not working and the rest of the light is working (low/high beam, turn signal, running light). Based upon that I think your choice is to buy a whole good headlight and swap the whole headlight (new or used) or to buy one for parts and open both headlights and swap out the faulty components.
