2016-2021 KIA SOUL 2.0L SERPENTINE/DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT HOW TO 

As many kia soul cars I see on the road, I can't believe that 5he top list video only has 6 now 7 comments.

It almost seems that it would make it much easier if the engine mount was removed. I am NOT looking forward to doing this task! Also...I have found it very helpful to remove the headlight when trying to do work in the engine compartment. Removal is easy and it opens up tons of space! PS: Thanks for posting. I was disappointed to see that the Kia Soul online maintenance manual shows the incorrect configuration. :-((

Poking around with that screwdriver is not a good idea.

Not the proper way to install this at all. First you must draw a configuration of the belt before it is removed. Also you loosen the motor mount. Easy job in less than a hour

The older models is by loosing 3 alternator bolts and passenger side tire plastic shield

A screwdriver is no it's no use on this job.. You sure struggled
