Honestly I would love to see all the chicanes deleted and the old, fast Lesmo 2. I know some people would miss the Ascari Chicane, but I think Monza should be all about the speed.

I'm not sure what's so exciting about a solid minute of just flying down a straight with nothing else to do, even at ~200MPH; people don't watch endurance racing for the top speeds, people watch endurance racing for the crazy technology put to its limit for 24 hours at a time, and what tests technology better than rapid acceleration and turning; AKA, corners? Plus, even with the chicanes, modern LMPs can reach top speed (at least, without electric aid) for a good ten or so seconds at a time.

But you forot that LMP cars are only for tracks while factories made P1, LaFerrari and 918 for tracks and street as well, that also comes with some extras add (radio, more comfortable seats, etc.) Plus LMP teams don't produce 375, 499 or 918 pieces, only 2 or 3 pieces. So it's pretty obvious which category would be faster around a track.

Audi to come out with hypercar to compete with current hypercars......using the LMP1 tech and transfer down to production car.
