In a similar boat here. Not sure it deserves all the hate it gets. I don't hate it, but I def don't like it either. Its functional and gets the information across clearly. It's def not something to show off about tho. Lacking in comparison to the CTS models, but yeah...ehhh
It's a beautiful car but I don't no why Cadillac didn't use the beautiful cluster displays like the CTS-V, the analog ones almost look "cheap" and dated compared to the cts
While certainly not flashy, it doesn't warrant the criticism it receives (from people who don't own the car or aren't in the market for it). It is actually very functional and displays a lot of data that many other cars do not. Luckily, there are so few faults with this car that critics have to talk about something, I guess. I love mine - but then again, I base my opinions on a car I've actually driven.
its the same gauge cluster as a 90s chevy van..please don't try and fight it...it is lame that GM can't even spend some time designing the thing you ALWAYS look at when you drive
Don't SSleep Yeah, it's functional. But my opinion is: if I'm going to buy an expensive car, I want it to look expensive. The dashboard in the ATS looks like dashboards you'd see in an early 90's minivan (say, a Ford Windstar). Even a $27k Camaro (less than half the price) has a much better looking dash.
@@pikkagtr1942 It drives marvelous. Gauges may look a bit bland, but at least they are clean and easy to read. If u want some sophistication, the CTS-V has a fully digital cluster. If I was in the market for a D-segment car I would put into consideration.
Burt Reynolds exactly. Analog gauges are fine with me. I just drove one the other day and really didn't see an issue with the gauges. The same people bitching about the analog gauges will be the ones bitching about their digital gauges going out.
