Starting at Manning Drive, take a counter-clockwise drive around the completed Anthony Henday, eventually making your way back to Manning Drive. This hour-long drive has been condensed to 10 minutes for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
I still remember when the Henday ended at Ray Gibbon Dr, SWC Ave was connected to 184th, LeClair Way wasn't built yet (137th ran at its original alignment), the Glastonbury area was still being developed, and interchanges at Cameron Heights, Lessard, and Callingwood were at-grade intersections. Times have changed.
Congestion at Cameron Heights... surprise, surprise! ;) The rest was pretty smooth sailing though. I love the new NE section. Went out to Sherwood Park on Christmas Day from 127 St on the northwest side. It's really a breeze to get over there now. The three-level cloverstack at Yellowhead is quite impressive. Not quite Texas-league stuff, but pretty slick nonetheless.
I believe this was on a Saturday so that's why traffic wasn't any worse. They really need to do something with the southwest, it's getting ridiculous. Thanks for watching!
