Ridiculous that to chamge your battery you have to take the front wheel and bumper off. That alone should be a deal breaker for anyone buying this car. Car makers are absolute robbers, and people should tell them where to go when they do things like this.
Totally agree. Now it comes down to after sale service. A lot of people would take it back to the dealership for replacement. Couldn't even imagine what they would charge for this. Thanks for watching and commenting.
They have to cram so much in the engine compartment to make more interior space they get creative at our expense. If you're willing to fight it you can do it by just turning the wheel out, but it's tough.
Just replaced the battery on my wife's 2015 Journey. We were able to get it out without removing the whole fender well. The longest part of the process was getting the cover clips off without breaking them. Clock and climate control needed to be reset, that was it.
