I attended this race. Kudos to the cameramen that can follow these cars so smoothly. One doesn't really get a sensation of the speed at which these cars travel when watching on TV. In person, these cars pass by in a literal flash. For that reason, these high speeds take something away from the in person experience. We got to see Rossi coast to a stop in turn 4 after the checkered flag. My highlight of the week was watching the vintage cars run on Carb day, including the classic era roadsters, a Novi, and one of the '68 turbine cars.
+Thomas Ancona for me, I was just hoping that the steam would not go crap at the finish because I knew this finish was going to be great once everybody started to pit cause I knew one guy was going to gamble on fuel mileage to win the race.
