Oh my gosh thank you for posting this link! I didn't know much about the awards and that article was not only very informative but it was also hilariously written!

All of these are high school students who won a award for same category in their region for productions that were produced all these people play the part in high school or community theatre which is only teenagers. So they have same competition but just local people and then they come to New York and compete for it out of whole country. You can be nominated more than once (like the tonys) but can’t be same character. I saw someone actually did that they did it twice didn’t go to jimmy first year but won it 2nd year
