The people talking in the background are really annoying. But this is the only video on RU-vid that shows how to change a headlight assembly and it's helpful.
Great video. Had a cracked lens on the front of my CX five. Saved a lot of money replacing both lenses myself. Never could’ve done it without seeing how it was done. Thanks a lot for the video,Repair guy.
Hello period thank you your video is very helpful period unfortunately my lights seem like they are angled the wrong direction once reassembling everything
The work involved here to change a headlight assembly is nothing short of ridiculous! Makes me hate my 2015 Mazda CX-5 even more than I did minutes ago. I’ve had other cars where this could be done in 15 minutes from start to finish.
Hi kabayan! I’ve changed my whole headlight due to it being damaged but the Adaptive light malfunction came on the dashboard, is there any recommendations you can give to sort it out? Salamat kabayan
I remember when you could pop the hood, remove 2 screws from each headlamp cover, then have easy access to the headlamp housing. You end up spending more time fudging with the bumper than with the darn headlight!! Joe Biden says "C'mon man."
For anyone wondering, it is possible to replace the headlight w/o removing anything. I did it today. It was a tight squeeze and an awkward angle. Also I have long scrawny arms and long skinny fingers. Anyone with huge arms or beastly hands prob wont be able to fit in there. It took 10 mins total with me struggling to get out bulb originally for 5 mins. Figd it was the angle but I tried the other headlight and popped it out in 10 seconds. If it was that side it would have been about a 5 min fix.
@@asianmechanicguy6483 Oh yeah I didnt realize you were doing the whole headlight assembly replacement. My car manual still was telling me I had to remove a bunch of bolts just for a bulb. Im lazy and was like heck no! Good work. Guy :)
most car right now had this kind of design where there always 1 bolt at the bottom of the headlight assembly and u had no choice than to lower down ur bumper
