2016 Nissan Leaf SV: A quick 0-60 acceleration measurement 

So I've been enjoying this car around town for a while, and it feels REALLY fast. So fast, that I found it hard to believe that the 0-60 time is really 10 seconds, which is pretty average.
But this test confirmed it - 10 seconds exactly. Probably the Leaf's secrets are as follows:
- The 0-30 time (which you use much more often) really is much quicker than most cars.
- And the instant 100% torque (187 ft-lbs of it) means that casually hitting the gas pedal on this car is equivalent to shifting down to first gear in a normal car, revving the engine to redline, then dropping the clutch.
I've had this Leaf chirp its tires significantly when doing a quick blast of acceleration starting at 35MPH. So no matter what the musclecar-enthusiasts tell you, this IS a fun car.
