Its nice to know that there is some sort of Mac society in Ontario as I just acquired one and is looking for Mac owners and enthusiasts gain some info from. Is there a number or website that I can visit for further details?
Are you towing with a Santa Fe? We have a Subaru Forester, and I'm a bit on the fence whether it would tow a 26M. We have towed about 3,000 lbs Uhaul trailer, which made the back squat a bit, but it still had plenty of power to do it. I think loaded these boats are more like approaching 4,500 lbs though?
Hi. I did extensive research before buying the Santa Fe to tow my Mac. I don't know anything about the Forester. Some of the reasons I chose the SF were: 270 ftlbs of torque at only 1700 rpm, great for ramps 4 wheel lock, not just awd, great for ramps Same size as an Audi Q5 but much more hp and trq, Audi rated at 4500lbs tow cap 264 hp, more than many V6 engines Great on gas when I'm not towing Wider wheel base than things like Rav4 CRV CX5 etc
