hello, what a beautiful Vespa / scooter! I am new to electric scooters. Can someone please explain to me about this model how I can tune and de-restrict the engine so it can reach 80 km/h again? the one I will buy has been restricted to 45 km/h. That is not very useful or fun. Please send me a link to a video that shows how to de-strict the speed back to 80 km/h as it was made to go. It looks like a really fun Vespa! thanks for taking the time to assist us!
That scooter is a beauty, with a proud name and heritage...and I'm envious of the front disc-brake! I'll stay with my '08 'Metropolitan', though...the liquid-cooled four-stroke is all but indestructible! And will start instantly, everytime, no matter the weather. And the seat! Like a 'Barco-Lounger'...perfect for an 'American-size' bottom! (I wonder why the top-end is 28mph? Built-in restrictors, maybe? (that can be fixed quickly, though...a 2-stroke 50cc should beable to achieve the 'high-thirties' with no major mods involved)
I think it's good that having passed the driving test, all you need is one cbt and you can ride a moped without L-plates. no need to do another cbt, because it lasts your entire car license period.
+ Kishgofu True..Most of the car moves Iv seen whilst using a smaller capacity bike are beyond belief.. Doesnt generally happen with the bigger bikes.. An L plate is usually a magnet for grief too..
Dino Perić Yes, but the speed would be 50 km/hour. I had a 2-stroke 50c.c. scooter before, I could take my girl friend with me (135kg total) uphill. Usually 2-stroke engine is more powerful than 4-stroke one. If you are not too critical about speed, you can reach 45 mph(72 km/h) if ride alone in a 2-stroke 50c.c. scooter. Certainly, 4-stroke scooter has less fuss with oil-adding. My current 4-stroke 50 c.c. scooter with sidecar(I am temporarily handicapped) on both sides for stability can reach 57 km/h(35 mph), which is fast enough for in-town errands.
@@darcychu9652 Thank for the reply. Hope you are well nowadays. I know everything there is to know about scooters, ( i have a scooter rental agency in Croatia) so i was wondering can it pull 150+ kilograms up the hill. That's important for customers and myself. Best regards Stay safe
@@pulpermannetje a modern 2 stroke can be more environmentally friendly than a four stroke...what do you do with the engine oil after an oil change on a 4 stroke. modern boat 2 strokes are way ahead of four strokes
