+Todd Michaels You said you couldn't come in cause you were sick... Don't bother showing up tomorrow. We are looking for other candidates that are serious about their job. -Boss.
gtlm lap times should be interesting. I also wonder how the speedsource mazda prototypes are faring out now in competitive lap times , thanks for the video lanky
just stumbled into your link -- thanks for the upload Lanky -- we musta been next to each other as you have some of same times and locations -- seems like I remember the camera, but not you :-) .. I had the Canon 5D3 with 400 on the end & wearing EcoBoost hat -- cya in a couple weeks -- cheers "the old man" ..
+snakeb1t Everyone needs to wear a shirt with their online names on it so I know who people are haha! I'm usually easy to find because I'm the guy who's a little taller than the other really tall guy there
Nice job Mr. Turtle. Thanks for uploading. Man those Ford GT's look good, and the aero makes the R8's look super-aggressive. :) [visiting from TenTenths]
Thanks for the really fine video work ... camera technique excellent. IMSA does not do much in the way of providing great video coverage ... we really like and appreciate what you do. Bud Miller
Awesome Post! I love having this cranked up in my headphones as I work through the day. I know some purists harp on the DP cars for being "cumbersome and archaic tube chassis" cars, but man do they sound good! I had a chance to go to Watkins Glen in 2014 and they give ya goose bumps! Also, how about the Mazda? If I knew the 3 hatch back would sound like that Id run to the dealership!
I disagree with you on how they sound. Personally I love how they sound. I wasn't there for the race, even though im an hour and a half away, but everyone says they were basically the whole show.
+Tal Bogachov that's cool man I'll respect your opinion but personally I think the 911's sound the best cause of their high revving flat 6 but the vettes weren't the whole show, everyone was awed at the deltawing until the idiot driving it smashed into the back of a stationary car
+Keegan Those are the new 488s with turbos... I didn't like the sound either, and the 458 GTs were awesome! Was not impressed with the GT Turbo noise either. Can't imagine racing without the sound of those corvettes and other v8s.
+fansofthe12hours I think it has to do with youtube from what I was told. I always see them one thumbs down on video's that become popular. Almost as if youtube themselves give you a thumbs down lol.
Good to see you buddy b, sorry I missed you Lanky. Btw way, I saw a guy, real tall and I asked him, hey what's your RU-vid channel and when he told me I was already a subscriber and then he said. Oh lanky turtle asked me that in the parking lot.me and him laughed so hard
+Scumbag Scotty Thanks Scumbag! I use a Canon Vixia R400, cheap and a few years old, but I record and upload everything at the highest settings. I also used a mic for this vid. I plan on upgrading to something new before the 24 hours.
+Lanky Turtle wow! that's great quality for a cheaper camera! Definitely want to pick a camera up before I go to The Glen this summer. Might have to get this camera! No buying a $1k camera!
The mic I use is called a Takstar. It's a Chinese copy of a Rode you can get for super cheap. It has some hiss to it so it's not good for quiet settings, but is fine for racing. It uses a AA battery and has a decibel boost switch.
