I listen to this every morning on the way to work man this was everything man almost cried at the end ..... this was dope no matter what everyone has to listen to the message that was sent as well as the music
Brother as a accomplished musician I agree with you. For me it was the message in the arrangements that did it for me, as well as the cleanest of the transitions Be on it was assume as well but these Brother made it about more than the 🎶 💯CB
With an opening like that how did the other bands gather courage to perform. Not fair red camp, not fair..... And I was in tears by the end of the video
I said when I watched this years ago that Majesty should have won but nah bruh....these guys won hands down. Their arrangements were much cleaner, they had much better grooves, and transitions were flawless. They won bruh, they won. Majesty had tons of errors in transitions and timing especially, but besides that, these brothers were just too tight to lose. Got my vote (4 years later lol).
the cell phone part calling out the judges was genius LOL that got them the win along with the social theme an current event happening, tugs the hearts, music and called out the judges you got to give it to them the put the right pieces together so it had everyones attention throughout, they didn't have to be complicated.
A lot of comments about "B on It" on here. Without a doubt, they are one of the greatest(if not the greatest) bands ever..but don't get it twisted, they boys are the BOMB! They just come wit it with a different vibe, in a different way. Give the their props, THEY ARE ALL THAT AND MORE! Let them be who they are; they are ON IT TOO!
Sorry. This competition was ended in 2014 when B On It Productions took the crown. It's done and over with as far as I'm concerned lol. It's so hard to ever find anybody but Soundcheck to compete with them.
1:16 to 3:24 I can’t stop listening to it! It feels so good! I literally want to study that it’s soo nice. There’s bass, guitar, 2 keys, and drums. I want to know I’m fine detail what they are all doing on every part! So I can create stuff like it if I wanted to!
I think the 2016 bands suffered a little bit from overcomplicating and "look what I can do" syndrome. As a musician I enjoyed it, but it is difficult for the general public to get into it.
These cats are coldblooded as hell! So what is this groove, FunkSoulJazzFusion?I don't really care, all I know is that it's funky, soulful, jazzy, and fusion-ish...hell yeah!!!!
Thanks Coko. Was hoping this would come soon. Congrats to Red Camp. Be On It set such a high mark in my book...im not sure if im impartial and unfair or if i need to listen to this a few more times to really feel it like I did with last year's winner. But still nice. Like that Prince tribute. "Pretty sneaky sis".
Just watched Majestic's performance I think their show had way more Hype and crowd engagement. I personally think they should had won. Nonetheless, not taking away from red Camps performance, great job! B on it Still one of the best performance that came through this stage though in my opinion. If you haven't seen them you have to watch it...2014 Strange arrange Champ.
Seen some comments saying Majestic should have won the competition. But as a musician I think Red were more mature than majestic of course majestic they are talented but there was a lack of wisdom in their performance Red arrangement and transition was clear to listen the competition is a band competition its not individual talent competition.
Not gonna lie. This was a bit of a let down after the last two competitions. I personally can think of about 4 arrangementsb in last two competitions that were better
I used to feel like majesty won easily years ago, but as I have matured in my ears, I have seen why red camp won. Don’t get me wrong. Both bands were great and it was a very close battle, but red camp was a tad bit smoother, less chaotic, and it caused you to really sit in the song more. Just a bit more well rounded.
I watched both majesty and Red camps performance to see why Red camp won I saw one thing that stood out....red camp played with the backing music more than majesty. ..Instead of playing over it.....red camp played like pros....and majesty played semi-pro having more talent than them but lacking wisdom.....how would you sound if they were the real people singing this...can not drown out your paycheck. ...but all in all majesty is more talented
Now that's the most balanced explanation I've heard anybody say and it makes perfect sense. I was doing the same thing because in terms of runs and transitions Majesty definitely took it. But no one considered that your transitions can't overshadow the main point which is the singing
I'm 3 min in and I hear nothing creative no originality ! All bands sound like this now. Be. On. It production from the last composition had the most creative arrangements ever. They took songs and made it sound completely different! This band doesn't sound bad but they are so easy to copy because everyone sounds like this now.
There is alot of haters on the comment board. Most of the peanut gallery wouldn't even be able to keep up they would get left! The speed of how arrangments come at you, programming and execution is not easy! Big ups to the RED CAMP!!
