In the first installment of the 2016 Tiger Muay Thai Tryout series, we invited 40 up and coming MMA and Muay Thai athletes from around the globe to compete against each other for a spot on our professional fight teams and a year's scholarship training at our camp in the tropical land of Phuket, Thailand. Of the invitees, only nine scholarships were given, six for MMA and three for Muay Thai. More episodes to come soon.
Our former winners have gone to fight in some of the biggest MMA promotions including the UFC. Can't wait to see what is in store for this winners of this tryout. Tune in and see who wins a spot on our team!

OH MY GOSH FINALLY! I've been waiting on this for MONTHS. Almost a whole year at this point! I hope once I visit and train here that I make such an impression as to be invited back for this amazing opportunity..

My trainer has been over there before and fought under their name. With everything he's said about it, I know that this is the place to expand and perfect my knowledge. It would be an honor to be a fight team representative; plus, the grueling selection on here would prepare you for the stress if you were to ever be on the Ultimate Fighter and compete for the contract! Thats surely the order that I hope to do things haha.

A thin nylon cover for your hair. basically a sock. Mostly black people or people with really easy to mess up hair wear it. For example if you have braids and dont want loose hairs from your hat or pillow rubbing against it.

It's pretty cheap in Thailand. I lived and trained in Chiang since for 3 months and it cost fuck all. Not sure about the prices of this place but it's cheaper than a western gyms.
