2016 Toyota Vios 1.5L GX facelift review - AutoBuzz.my 

First of all, you deserve pat on your back for this piece of decent review. Well done bro! I just bought this ride last December when Toyota offered considerably huge amount of rebate. (I got 7.5k and DP of 20k, just to lower my monthly) From my little experience driving this new Vios, i might say that Toyota did a great job in addressing the fuel consumption issue as my journey from JB - KL back forth only cost me 3/4 of my full tank! I'm really impressed with it but i know it maybe due to the fact that most of the journey is on highway. However, i might concur with what i might term as not-so-perfect (or others said like 'sampan') handling which Toyota might take into consideration for improvement in the future. To others out there who feel like replying to this comment, i made this comment solely from my little experience of 2 weeks driving this Vios and hey, it might as well change in the future, who knows? haha. Whatever your car is, be respectful to others and there is a huge different between commenting and criticizing. Don't make others feel bad on their ride. Just my 2 cent

ya , music is unnecessarily loud and bass heavy...and maybe time to put the mic a little up ur shirt thn sound can be alot more clear...otherwise , i still think the City is a better packaged car,and the almost similar proportion Persona is a better value...!

Good PSA on the rear fog lights GC. I see Vios owners drive around with their fog lights on all the time like "okay, you have rear fog lights, we get it"

It is the same car in Peru but we call it Yaris instead of Vios

The meter gauge is very much similar to the Kia Forte. 3 meter, Tacho, Speedo and a massive fuel gauge.

Fun to drive, of course fiesta or swift...

To be honest the music was quite annoying and too loud, even when running in the back ground, couldn't quite concentrate on the key points. The repetitive sequences also dragged the video longer than was unnecessary as there was not quite much info for such a long video. Other than that, good jokes and commentary.

keywords... "to stay relevant".. how many vios u see on the road nowadays (compare with previous generations)? the upgrade/facelifts might just be too little too late... other brands had caught up/overtook big time...

2012 Accent is better on my opinion. The 2018 Vios looks a the same nothing really changed. 2018 Accent really changed. I am hoping that Vios will change soon.

If we used to drive continental cars , possibility drive toyota will be bored, but if looking for piece of mind, then go for toyota.......hihihi

hmm, seems like nobody likes CVT engine, most common and cheap price car brand Is using CVT engine now, what else you can choose for? just go for Mazda, Subaru, VW, BMW, Merz then.

Nice looking car !!! Wished we had it in the US market ... the Yaris will be the equivalent for the US market, but we dont even get the Yaris International model ... what we get is the Mazda2 rebaged as ScionIA/YarisIA ... ugly as hell 👎🏽
