New sub here. You are a money saver. I’m planing on doing my own work on my 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia base.

I had a misfire, and then went down the dark dark road of the internet and found the guilia forums. People there are 100% doom and gloom, immediately suggesting the engine is blown. I had a local mechanic swap plug/coil from the reported misfire cylinder to another, and the error code followed. However, Im not sure if he used OEM or local auto parks store replacements. The good news is that it drives, the bad news is that Im still going to want to replace everything with OEM. But good luck finding the coils! Like everything else with these cars, supply has been a challenge. I was not happy when at the time I needed rotors/brakes and the only thing I could find were chinese knock offs or really over priced rotors/pads. Next time I'll order from the dealer and have them on hand well before the time I actually need them.

Could you please make a video on the PCV and its consequence such as oil residues in the air intake . and if an oil catch can is useful. many thanks

Good vid. But you do not need to use oem parts to stay in warranty. There is plenty of case law where people have sued and won using aftermarket oem equivalent parts.

What are the simple/ & worst case scenarios when it goes on limp mode and says “service electronic throttle” bought one used and tryna figure out the solution

You have to re-gap the stock plugs?

Your videos are too dark to watch please use a good LED light so people can see what you are doing, Just the mobile flash light is not enough for the quality video
