I'm Korean! Yonsei University is the top 3 school, and that's how popular celebrities come Only stars come to the university festival and they don't sing it unless it's famous! University festival = place where famous celebrities come => event fee is huge At that time, BLACKPINK received about 20 to 30 million won for the event
Yes they are definitely MONSTER ROOKIE by PAK their debut song Whistle and second debut song Boombayah was so catchy towards international fans and FACT second debut song Boombayah is now 1.4billion views, which I don’t think any other rookie will have their debut song surpass 1 billion yet in the future!
see? they're also rookies here but managed to rock the stage, hype the crowd and connect with the audience. they're REAL PERFORMERS edit: damn, i didn't knew praising blackpink would pop the veins of kpoppies
I know you're talking about aespa. Even as rookies in this video, BP had already performed in front of crowds. Comparing experience to inexperience is unfair. Knowing that BP was also hated for their performances when they were rookies, I don't understand why so many blinks are treating aespa the exact same way. If you're mad at SM drag SM, not aespa. The girls did nothing.
@@finn_5393 nope honey, by the time they first debuted, blackpink showed us their charisma and overflowing stage presence😊 even as rookies before, they are hyping the crowd already and please don't tell us that aespa "were just some rookies" because even on their stage performances (big or small stages) you can clearly see they don't have enough stage presence. yes they are good vocally but they are very calculated and cautious on stage which makes their performances look awkward and somehow boring.
@@finn_5393 when was bp hated for their performances ?? 💀 like give me one article saying blackpink had no stage presence or dont know how to hype the crowd when they were rookies
@@finn_5393 i think good performances come out from experiences. it should be organic. I feel sorry for Aespa, SM dragged them coz of their greed. They are not equipped honestly. They need to experience these small festivals or perform with audience more to gain confidence and develop their craft. They were fed by SM to audience scrutiny not to mention the way it was presented/announced. Can't avoid people will definitely compare them to their seniors who performed before them. This video showed how a barely one year old girl group performed on stage with so much confidence and charisma. If they could have given it at least 1 year more before performing to such a big crowd not to mention Coachella's scale of performers attending, we would have probably seen more from their performance.
Watching this in 2022....I can understand why this unique girl group (Blackpink) has becomes the biggest K-Pop Girl Group in the world now... They were rookies then (1 year from debut in 2016).... but already have the 'Wow' factor that no other group has...... their energetic stage performance....the way they interacted with the audiences....the way they hyped up the 'festive mood' to connect with audience....demonstrates the special unique talent the group (all 4 members) processes....its so natural & entertaining to watch!..... 'Blackpink's' is made up of 4 individually extraordinary talented & successful members (Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo & Rosie), different from other girls group...they've gone through about 4 to 6 years of hard training among them before debuting in 2016. From my standpoint & view, YGE has successfully pick & trained up a girl group of high international quality & talent.... something to learn from. In this Blackpink's 'live' stage performance, there're always something for those upcoming junior girl group to learn from...& not be bored down by trying to beat their (Blackpink) standard...but to learn from them (Blackpink) instead!.....following their (Blackpink) footsteps to international success & popularity. Success, respect & popularity are earned, not only by talent alone but by hard work & training....ability to learned from others... be humble to ourselves & to others. My personal, view & thought on this AKARAKA 2017, Blackpink's stage performance. Thankyou.
You are right, the other ggs are fabulous but no one compares to Blackpink, these four girls are phenomenal. Lately, I have realized how big, extraordinary, ideal, legendary, and excellent Blackpink is. The BIGGEST GIRL GROUP title truly belongs to them as they are remarkable and well-deserved.
lisa Cannu I do too and. I'm glad they did this I know it was a lot to ask of them with a come back next month but I think that listening the crowd react it was a brilliant idea
Lisa: best dancer, only foreigner Rose: best vocalist Jennie: best rapper Jisoo: best look, unique vocals, best MC Edit: Is that good enough for all of the comments trying to say that I am a Jisoo hater, I’m not, I do treat them equally.
@@imfakhri1447 iya, betul kebanyakan knetz ini gengsi, padahal banyakan followers ig lisa dari taehyung,eh knetz mala mengakui banyakan v dari lisa, tapi faktanya banyakan lisa, biasalah knetz gengsi untuk mengakuinya🤭
Im a lisa stan but there aren’t any comment about our miss korea, JISOO YAHH YOUT AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, FULL OF TALENT, GORGEOUS, HILARIOUS, AND AMAZINGLY STUNNING. WE LOVE YOU JICHU ❤️
I miss the time when blackpink promoted more in Korea and were doing university concerts and stuff like this :/ wish YG will promote the girls better in South Korea for the upcoming comeback and let the pinks have a bigger fanbase there.
@@sofypi7493 Blackpink is the only kpop group that had achieved instant fame in South Korea when they debuted. They were the ideal monster rookies in kpop history.
Rosé voice is such a gem, and her accent is the cherry on the top. Whenever she sings a song, she adds that magical touch to make it her own..She slayed it!!! Even John Mayer appreciated her......👑
So a rookie group can also hype the crowd, Blackpink proved 😋 Humble queens started from College festivals to Coachella - - - >There is no shortcuts to success, fame, popularity, you gotta work hard
@@nadi5303 ? Ofc bp is better 🙂 , aespa is too early for Coachella , they don't have that good stage presence , I'm not hating aespa or something , I respect each and very idol and group so yeah
@@yuki7354 Did I asked who's better? Lol hahahaha I am just saying blonks comparison are ridiculously funny. Korean event vs US event? Really? You don't get it as well? Lol If we are talking about who's better I'll go with most LEGIT AWARDS!!! Popularity isn't everything bruh. 💪🏻
BLACKPINK! Their stage presence, expressions, charisma, confidence, rap, vocals, movements are on a whole another level. The girls has that Yg swag that comes out without even trying, that badass, hyped-up, yet chill, laid back, cold sawg. And they are the main rapper yet main vocal, main dancer, visual material. They can even produce, compose, write songs and is hella good at it Ace! They're the queens of kpop admit it 🔥👑
So what's aespa's excuse for not singing live again? Being rookies? Blackpink isn't even a year old here but they already know how to build rapport with their audience. Before anyone barks here about me brining aespa up, it's because of their fans' audacity to discredit BLACKPINK just because they had a daesang early on their career. I'm not saying aespa doesn't deserve the daesangs, but don't you compare them with BLACKPINK because BLACKPINK had so many competitor in their early years as compared to aespa in 2021.
@@fajanuari7542 Plus, their dancing isn't even top tier. So what are they really offering? Just visuals? Ugh. The only member that had stage presence was Ningning and their fans have the audacity to say aespa is better than BLACKPINK? Bruh.
All voices are stable. It's just jisoo is not strong in dance and other stage skills, her breathe cannot be listened. Others are jumping waving running so obviously they will lose breath
at that time Blackpink also didn't use band performances, but their stage performances were so stunning, lit, and the audience sang along with them. it's all about stage presence. audiences don't care when your idol debuts or whatever happens on your idol
