1000 SUBS CHALLENGE!! SUBSCRIBE!!! How to install 2016-2019 Chevy Colorado grill... I hope you enjoy it. Where to buy it: www.shopchevyp... Follow me on Instagram: / matt.1003
Put the same grill on my 2017 also. Love it. I watched a couple videos before and saved a lot time on the install. Going back together it was much easier to install the grill first then push the bumper tabs into the grill.
Hi Matt, I just replaced my grill on my Colorado using the link you left to buy it and the descriptions you left on how to install. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you! Thank you for these helpful and fun videos. Keep it up! Next is my side bars
Love the grill! Put the same one on my '15 Colorado this past weekend. Glad someone else got to feel the same pain I felt. I ended up having to take the whole bumper off too. Couldn't get the grill detached from the bumper while it was still attached.
Looks very neat. All you need now is a bad ass lift kit , wheels , and tires. The truck definitely deserves it. When you finally do decide to lift the truck you should consider removing the front air dam as well. The red stripes were cool for a while but it’s time to change it up soon.
It really looks nice. you give me too many ideas on spending money on my truck. You and your family stay well Frankie Long Island P.S black will look great g
Great video. It helped alot. Also, I noticed you have led headlights. What brand did you go with? I ordered from diode dynamics and it seemed like they got alot dimmer after a year.
Nice Grill, remove the red stripes put black, it will give a better contrast, i have a black Colorado, i thought to put white stripes . Thanks for sharing!
I notice in the newer videos that you painted parts of the grill white to match the truck, but I haven't seen a video for it. Did you get it professionally done?
Yes, get rid of that red!! That's the one thing I never really liked about your truck. Black would look MUCH better! I'm thinking of getting a black stripe or stripes for the hood and a black stripe on the sides where the grooves are towards the bottom. Your truck looks great! Wish I could afford that grill. If I do get it, I'm thinking about painting or plasti dipping that "Colorado" part blue to match my truck.
Great video, put this grill on my 2019 colorado, I agree with TJ , much easier to install the grill then snap the bumper in place 😀 also removed the air dam at the same time .
Hey Matt I watched ur video it helped a lot !! Just purchased the grill I could not get the factory grill loose the latches would not unsnapped at the bottom. I took the bumper loose too sucks !!!
Hey guys question for the community, I want to get this grill for my truck but I want to keep the Z71 logo. Is there a way to put the Z71 logo on the grill?
Another Colorado aficionado!!! Heck yeah! Do you also think that chevy colorado is the best mid-size pick up in market? I love that grill, ill eventually put on my colorado! Sweet truck bro! Ill keep up with your videos! 👍
Hey Matty, thanks for the guidance. I just removed my air dam by removing the entire front bumper from my Colorado WT. It was really easy ... with your help!
Looks great. That’s one thing I don’t like about the Colorado is the. Bumper set up. Wish GM had been as smart as Ford did on the new Ranger and had a metal bumper.
Matt, that looks awesome! I've wanted that grill for a while now, just wish it were a little cheaper. Definitely think you should remove the airdam off of the front bumper. It's not that difficult to do, just a little tedious.
I agree I removed mine on my ‘16 Colorado z71 and have noticed ZERO difference with it off and it looks way better and now there’s a ton more ground clearance
@@exiquiogonzalez4549, $296 isn't terrible. But, shipping is ridiculous. Shopchevyparts is the cheapest I've found at $52. I've looked around and shipping went as high as $111. That's nuts.
Nice videos Matt! SO I tried to get one for my 2017 Colorado. Chevy customer service is saying that they are not longer available for 2017s! Your video states the grill is compatible with 2016-2019? If I buy the 2018 grill, you think it will fit in my 2017?
Sure man! This is the one i got... there is a video before this one ... where I show exactly where I bought it ... check it out ... so you will see the 2018 will fit!
I find they don’t answer correctly when they don’t feel like it!! I have ZR2 side bars and they all told me it would not fit, I insisted because it makes no sense that Chevrolet would change the size of its vehicules every 2 minutes!! Sorry I am French, hope I make sense! This Grill looks great! Thanks for the video
I took your advice Matt and another RU-vidR. The grill fits perfectly and looks awesome! I do not understand why Chevy customer service say that they will not fit other Colorado below the 2018 year models. But they fit my 2017! I bought the 2019 grill.
I'm picking up my 2017 Z71 this afternoon. Was looking for some mods ideas. Thank you for you vid. How about removing the front splitter (air dam)? That thing is way too low and kind of dissimulate the middle section of the bumper which look very good. It's the first thing I am going to do.
@@Matty.Garage Yes I saw the video and also read the comment ''after 1000 comments''. Just did not come back to erase mine. Got my truck 2 days ago. Already looking into changing a few things. Your videos will certainly help with ideas and guidance. Good thing to have someone passing through trials and errors before you do. Thank you for that!!
Hey Matt, I would like to know where you got that new grill because i recently crashed my 2018 Traverse and I am looking for a new bumper, do you know where i could get one or buy one?
is it possible to put something behind the "Chevrolet" and give it color? i was looking at this but wanted to paint maybe a piece of sheet metal and put it behind.
Would this be the same on a 2016? I have the diesel model so I know some things are different but I have done everything to mine except the grill and bumper
i installed a bull bar to my 2019 Colorado. can I remove and install a new grill without having to to remove and replace the bull bar too? I have wired lights to it and have it all tight and tidy. I really don't want to have to do extra work
You might be able to do it ... just need to take your time and find support for the bumper so it won’t hanging while you are trying to remove the grill
Hey Matt you guys made me do it. I don’t have the video equipment but I put together a short pic video on my mods. Check it let me know what you think.
So. I just have one question., I have s10 of chevolet 2016. But i would like to know if is the same position clamping in the bolts for the chasis s10. Only i want to change the bumper colorado 2017 to s10 2016
Matt, have you thought about lifting or leveling your Colorado? I would love to see a video on either of those. Also, you should really consider removing your front air dam. I did that to my 2017 a few weeks ago, and the truck looks a thousand times better. It gives the truck more ground clearance in the front.
Hey man! The lift kit will be the next on the list... I will try to record the entire process, buy, installing, reviewing it ... the whole thing! Let's see if I can't get it done before the spring... and I will remove the air dam as well ... this for sure!
