It is a very nice car but not crazy about the auto stop feature that turn off the engine every time the car makes a complete stop, Very Annoying, is there way you can bypass it? I heard one way from keeping the engine from turning off is to put the gear in low and raise the Low gear to No. 6 I haven’t test , not sure it safe to that , But is there any way turning off this feature? Can you share any light on the matter????
Great questions! Most of my customers don't like it at first but after a few weeks get used to it and after a few months don't even notice it anymore. There is no official way to turn it off or bypass it as of right now. You can try doing the low gear 6, but that is only recommended at lower speeds not highway. If the air conditioning is on that will keep it from engaging. You can also shift to neutral when coming to stop sign/light/etc and that will keep it from engaging too. Or if you're going to be at a light for a bit, you can lift your foot slightly from the brake, just enough to let it re-engage the engine.
