Hello LazyD, great video, I hope like hell that you get a Kawasaki Mule FXT pro to service soon because you have helped me out immensely, by coincidence a few days ago my starter motor decided to die on me, and I had the same symptoms like the one you changed out on your last video Well I didn't have to go far to find the right person to guide me through the removal procedure and again your wisdom outshined AGAIN. Here's a laugh I went to see my mechanic I told him what had happened he told me to bring it in I told him how much would it cost me he said around 1.000 to1.200 dollars including taxes I said to nah it's ok Can you just order me a new starter motor and said to him I'll do it myself the starter motor cost me 416 dollars after watching your video I had it replaced in 3 hours I was like holy moly I can't believe I just did that, You saved me a sh%t load of money again, Your N1 Fan man!!!!

@@LazyDWorx I need that lift for sure 😂. Regarding the spark plug does that need to be done every year?

@@LazyDWorx One more question and I’ll leave you alone. In the manual it says lubricate periodically. I don’t see any grease fittings for my 2018 Kawasaki SX XC. What are we supposed to lubricate?
@LazyDWorx
@LazyDWorx 14 дней назад
@@bryanmorvant88 Most service kits come with them so I always do, just one less thing to worry about. But most of them look really good still. You could go several years without issues as long as it’s not running too rich or burning oil.

@@bryanmorvant88 Honestly I cannot remember offhand if there are any grease fittings, there may be one on a carrier bearing for the front driveshaft, other than that there may be none. If I find something more I will let you know 👍🏼👍🏼

Just saying, That's not the drain plug you should be using because it's plastic and very hard to get to. The suggested drain plug in on the passenger side at the same level as this one, it's a 9/16' metal plug per the service manual. It's a lot easier to get to! Good luck

You said in your video that you can repair the boot CV axle boot mine is cracked but the CV axle is still good. My boot is torn. How do I repair it? Thank you so much. Your video was very helpful.

@@MegaJessiejames Buy a boot, you can find them on AllBallsRacing.com The procedure is the same for pretty much all CV boots. I have a video of replacing a boot on a Mule Pro.

Hey man I have a question, do you have any idea why my mule has gasoline in the air filter box???
@LazyDWorx
@LazyDWorx 5 месяцев назад
Usually what I see is oil coming though from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) hose into the air box. The PCV hose runs from the valve cover to the back of the air box. Typically, if you’re seeing a lot of oil coming through into the air box from that hose it is a sign that combustion gases are leaking into the crankcase. It may be an early indicator that your piston rings are worn. Have you checked to make sure your air filtering system is functioning correctly?

The motor oil being milky color is concerning as a utv owner.
@LazyDWorx
@LazyDWorx 5 месяцев назад
For sure, in most manuals checking the oil level and condition is a check that should be done before each ride. We all know that doesn’t happen, but checking regularly can help identify potential issues early. Thanks for watching!!
