Buckelbrut as the germans call it, is when the female workers of the hive start laying eggs because of the absence of a queen.
These eggs will only produce male bees, the drones, because the eggs are not virtilized. Introdusing a new queen doesn't work because she will be immediately be killed by the workers, the only option would be to put a frame from another hive with youngest brood on it so the queenless hive might produce a new queen from this. This process mostly doesn't work the first time and should be repeated 2 or 3 times to make it work. You have to consider if it is worthwhile to take the effort for the colony you have, In our case the colony is sizewise very small and the effort would be to big to save it...
