Thank you for posting this video!!!! I am looking to get this kit for my Excursion and couldn't find any footage as detailed as this. Thank you so much!!!! I love this!
I would have gone with a 16 wide or at least a 14 other then the 12 wides on it to give it more offset turning would be better and make it a lot less too heavy. But other then that it looks great
I just picked up my 2018 F350 and it sits high...looking at your truck....fckn wow..how much would that cost a guy???? I'm north of the boarder and would pay twice your cost
Looks great. But coming from the eighties and nineties when off-road vehicles were actually used this serves no purpose off-road..... Nothing wrong with having a lifted truck like this. But the sidewall depth and and rim would be a problem off-road aired down. This would be better used as a tow truck. And the resale for lifted trucks like this have suffered over the last decade.
$100K waste of a vehicle built to tow and work looks good as a show truck but can it still tow. To tall for gooseneck or 5ver and to unstable for a bumper pull of any substantial weight not to mention how hard it will be to put a load in the bed And a lot or most insurance companies won’t insure more than a 6” lift
Powerstroke Strong 903 I've had lifted trucks my whole life. Once you get up over 8 in especially in the diesel segments and start Towing you have all kinds of problems. Transmissions and differentials get torn up. And if it's lifted wrong or you use wheel spacers all kinds of s*** goes wrong. you can lose a tire . If you're going to use it for Towing you need a dually or a 350 left stock. Lifted diesels don't Tow worth a s*** I got one right now that is worthless. Another problem is if you're going to have a fifth wheel or gooseneck your f*****. This leaves my lifted truck as a bumper pull only. Going to buy a stock Dually diesel for towing and leave it like that. That way I'll be able to tow with it and I will be able to stop better.
The beauty of this lift is the fact that you can lower it all the way down to a 1 inch lift for towing am pulling into hooking up trailer us however you can also go up as high as you want whenever you're just showing the truck or driving as a daily driver however $13,000 is Way too much money
Shit I have a f40 lifted 4” and I can still use the gooseneck trailer but I have stock wheels and tires, if I go higher on tires I won’t be able to use it. I was just looking here to see if it was worth getting this lift I drive the truck a lot with or without trailer and the suspension is really stiff on bumps. Since it’s my only truck I think I have to leave it the way it is. :/
When people make too much money this is what you get. Money would probably be better spent helping the poor that don’t have food on a daily basis, just my opinion. People are starving on a daily basis and you have people spending 10K or so on an air lift. Lol just ridiculous.
It’s just too high. This truck isn’t practical for an everyday vehicle. Now if it’s a show truck then that works. But as a daily driver that would just be stupid.
Another few thousand and you could just purchase hydraulic lift which would allow comfortable ride at any height plus never have to worry with air leaks which is a pain in the ass when these get some age
@@repairvehicle anylevel, but they only make them for fords. Thayre also more than "just a few thousand" more, as they cost around $15K or more depending on optiona.
Looks really good, but as somebody that had a dodydropped s10 back in the day I can tell you driving a bagged truck everyday is not reliable what so ever.
