not even close. they are nice for production boats no doubt but a Spencer or WCY is finished off much nicer and sooooo much drier in rough seas

Drier isn't necessarily better. Look at the Bertram 31, one of the wettest and most legendary boats ever built. Viking is incredibly wet, even with their larger models, Topaz, Cabo, basically any Bertram built. I've always heard "wetter is better." But to each their own... Hatteras isn't known as a battlewagon for no reason, they're built to last, and to take any and everything thrown at them.

@@RyanMonroe0910 I wouldn't consider hatteras a production boat company. Sure they make generalized models to sell but most every boat is custom one of a kind

Yes, the 500 mile range is at 30kts cruising speed...that will go up significantly if you slow down...the stabilizers would be awesome for slower cruising.
