the seats on this car are so zen...the lighter interior color opens up the cab and makes it feel HUGE. Not a huge fan of the shiny black or fake wood trim, but for the v6 i can overlook it

I wonder why Honda didn’t put one of those cameras on the left mirror also. I wasn’t going to buy another Honda, but I test drove one of those accords yesterday and I was completely run over with the features and how smooth it rides. But it was a 2013. I’ve never been so happy in my life. I guess I’ll stop looking at Toyotas now.

Yes...a new Honda Laura video!! If I was getting another sedan, I'd definitely go with the Accord...but I need an SUV so I'll be getting a Pilot early next year. Laura, any word on when the 2017 Pilot is coming?
I realize that the 2017 Accord is essentially a carry over from 2016, but I did notice that the mirrors are different. Are there any other differences between the two model years? Thanks.
You were right 9th generation is tough to beat. Honda finding that out months after the 18 release. It looks like everything else out there with that Euro wanna be 4 door coupe which doesn't exist. Honda bring back the V6.

Perfect car! Why did they get rid of the V6!?,! My lease is up tomorrow and thinking of keeping it but the front exterior lacks clearance AND GET’s beat up .love this car tho
Are they using the same DRL as last year? Because they tend to fail mine has failed and while driving I always see 1 or 2 Accords with 1 DRL not working..

Hi Laura! I owned the same car but I’m wondering if you can shift from D mode to S mode while driving with automatic ? I know people told me not to shift to R or P while in Drive mode but I’m not sure about S mode.
It really depends on what is important to you. With the EX-L you will get the apple carplay and android auto so you can run the maps off of your phone so you won't need the built-in NAV model. The sensing is definitely a plus. - Laura
I'm not buying into the lane watch gimmick. You can’t make a lane change unsafely what about a left lane change or with poor vidability. A traditional blind spot warning light is better because it is for both sides and also helps on poor vidability because it uses radar vs. camera.
Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk I have test driven and played with lane watch and with a traditional radar sensor that activates a light on both the driver's and passenger's side mirrors and I personally prefer radar to Lanewatch mainly because Lanewatch doesn't do anything for the driver's side and I also find it a distraction when taking a right turn at an intersection. I have used it myself and personally you won't sell me based on that. I am still probably be buying a Civic, but not because of that feature. Another point is that I am also looking at a 2017 Elantra and I don't like the smart trunk that opens when standing behind the trunk because with my life style I may only really need it about 4 times a year and it will probably open when I am just resting behind the car. Both of these cars are at my top 2 despite some features that I don't like, but the rest of the car is the best fit for me with Honda having the edge with the Honda Sensing package availible on EX vs the Elantra that is only on the top Limited with tech and ultimate packages.
By the way I am looking more at the Civic than the Accord personally, but just got interested by this. While I have you in the thread could you do a 2017 Civic vs. 2017 Elantra video? Also thought about you while I took a trip to the Boston area.
