This is model specific, so unfortunately no. Every vehicle is a bit different. Most toyotas you turn key on, find the trip/reset button, momentarily press that till it selects the odo on the Guage cluster. then, with that selected turn key off, hold the trip/reset button and at the same time turn the key on and watch the light flash and/or the odo show several dashes instead of numbers and it will flash and eliminate the dashes till they are all gone. You must continue to hold the button till all the dashes are gone, or the light stops blinking. If it didn't work. Repeat process with trip A selected or proceed to trip B. But that's how you reset most toyota's from about 20 years and up. However, many newer models require sifting through menus on the cluster, or hybrids require holding a combination of buttons at the same time, aka trip and kph/mph. Thank you for your question.
