Jayce Riggert r1 is good too but ppl like u ruin it, honda have won most of the recent motogp championship and this year they won the 2018 fim world endurance not just the championship but as a contructor as well, many isle of man TT riders dont fancy horsepower, they want a lighter and more narrow bike, im a fan of yamaha too, so get off your high horse and be nice to each other, theres no need to look down on others.

+Sonny Fales Ahh, didn't think about that but yeah the angles and matte black paint really give it that stealth aircraft look. You're correct, it was raised but not quite 14,000 RPM. It was bumped up 750 RPM to 13,000 RPM for 2017. Thanks for checking out the video and for posting up too bud!

Honda didn't build a 2017 CBR1000RR in silver but you can order all kinds of different plastic colors online if you don't want to stick to what was available stock.

they have a 2018 RVF10000 scheduled for next year end.

+Ogre Doug Oh yeah, Honda hit a homerun with the design cues on the 2017 CBR1000RR! As far as which one is more comfortable, I would have to side with the CBR over the GSXR just because I like the feeling of sitting on top of the bike versus sitting "inside" the bike like you get on the GSXR. It's a big personal preference thing though when it comes to which one feels better. Neither one is really "comfortable" by any means though.

HondaPro Kevin Honda definitely did this bike justice. My next bike is going to be one of these 2 bikes. You're right niether one "comfortable " lol. Whichever works better for a taller rider I suppose. Keep up the good work sir

I tried the CBR last week. Its only fun if you ride it hard. At slow speeds its uncomfortable. @Kevin. Does it have a lithium battery?

Great review. I’m 6’4’’ and most comfortable bike I’ve ever riden at slow and fast speed. And being 46 yr old I need my comfort the bike is amazing. Best thing ever owned Great informative upload 👍🏻

+Andrew Campbell Nice, the CBR900RR was an amazing bike in its hayday. Hahaha good lord is what you're thinking too at full throttle on these new 1000cc superbikes. It's absolutely insane. +Josue Perez Thanks man, appreciate it! When I video bikes and ATVs they are straight out of the crate so they haven't been "serviced" yet so they don't have a charged battery, gas etc. I wait to run them through service until they are sold so the owner knows they haven't been fired up and revved to the moon with a cold engine by a clueless salesman or a demo etc. That way the new owner knows it is indeed a brand new bike that they can break in how they choose. That's how I would want it if I were in their shoes. The only downfall to that though is not being able to show you guys the gauges, lights and how they sound. Hope you understand ;). On a side note though, I will have a serviced 2017 CBR1000RR SP video uploaded this week to show you guys all of the gauges and lights etc.

Thanks for getting back. I kinda figured it's because the bikes are brand new . I'm sure that's why the same applies when one goes to the dealer and you can't turn the bike on until purchased . I bought a 2017 Zx10r this past December and I'm kinda regretting not waiting for this CBR 1000rr to hit the sales floor lol

Should be up Tuesday or Wednesday, can't wait to show off the goodies the SP comes with - plus she's just gorgeous as can be! Do wish they gave you color options on the SP but I understand the exclusivity part of keeping it in just one color. Yup yup, thankfully there's still some good ones out there that wait to have them prepped until bought. I visit a lot of dealers and it always makes me cringe when you hear a salesman fire a cold bike up and rev it to all hell and back. If I'm fixing to drop the money on a new bike, I sure as hell wouldn't want that one lol. I may be a tad picky though. Hopefully they do, it'll be interesting to see how their sales do as the liter bike market for 2017 is STACKED! I'm just glad to see the manufacturers battling it out again like they used to back in the day when supersport bikes were redesigned every 2-4 years to make them better than ever and to fight for that #1 spot. Haha that sucks man but you've still got one heck of a beast on your hands with that 17' ZX10R. They are animals when the road straightens out and you can tap into the sheer power she's packing. How are you liking her so far?

HondaPro Kevin yeah it's definitely nice competition between all these bikes . So much is going into them. I'm loving my white ZX10r. I had a zx 636 I had for 3 three years, I loved it . Night and day now with the ZX10r. The only thing I don't like is that it is really down on low rpms, reminds me a bit of an R6. I'm exaggerating a bit but I commute on my bike 5 days a week and on the street and even on the highway when I'm lane splitting (here in California it is legal ) I could use so mid torque. My friend has an 09 CBR 1000rr that I've used and that has a lot of mid torque. I'm wondering how this 2017 CBR 1000rr model compares. If you talk to some of the customers that purchase this bike or if you get to ride one please let me know about that lol. Also for the base models, they don't come with quick shifters correct ?

+Sylvester Tobing Thanks bud! Oh yeah, Honda definitely used some of the same styling cues from the 2017 CBR250RR on this redesign of the CBR1000RR. I wish we had the new CBR250RR here in the USA, I'd add one to the stable next to my CBR600RR the day it was released but noooo we sadly don't get it here :(

+MotoHK Good attention to detail... The bronze cover is for European spec models and black here in the USA.

thanks for the reply. i couldn't help but notice that the black cover is a bit different from the bronze one not just in color but also in how it looks. the black one does not show the shift cable while the bronze one has it exposed. not sure if the black cover is not just a difference in color but also an extra accessory that the US model gets. not sure if you noticed this as well. reason i ask is that i'm planning to get this bike and maybe an R&G engine cover for extra protection in case of a slide but fitment may be different depending on whether the US vs. Euro models differ not just in color.

+Justin Dicarlo 100%! All of my CBRs over the years have been red, always thought a CBR should be red since it's Honda's color but this matte black color scheme with the touch of red here and there is B-E-A-UTIFUL and would be my choice if I were to buy one today.
