Great presentation. I watched it 3 times and today went to my local Honda dealership and bought a 2018 Honda HR-V EX Thanks for the great video for the '17. You did a superb job with much information. Here's to a great car! Coastal Oregon 7/31/2018
What a pleasant surprise. Shopping and researching this vehicle and never expected to see you!!! Would you like a bacon, egg and cheese? Hope you and the family are doing well.
@@molhuevo I would surely recommend the HRV. I've worked as salesman recently. However, the Honda CRV is better in terms of handling at higher speed (+100km/h) , more comfortable and much more high quality materials. On the other hand, the hybrid version of the Honda HRV, is a good option if you want to save on gas. From 0-60km/h at normal throttle, the car will use only the electric motors, hence saving gas. When you give a good amount of acceleration at any speed, the combustion engine will take over. The seats recline completely flat on the HRV, you can even put a mattress and take a nap in this vehicle. Sorry for late reply, was too busy working. You can contact me, before making your final decision. I've some knowledge about other cars and other models too :)
I just bought this vehicle for my wife and I couldn't agree more! The only car in it's segment that I can fit in the back seat with room to spare behind my driver seating position and I'm 6'3" . I'm very impressed and what sold me on the car along with it's practicality of storage room.
Thank you for explaining what a CVT Transmission is. I am looking to get one of these but for awhile CV-T transmission had made me nervous but know I understand.
My girl has a FWD HRV with the CVT. It drives nice. CVT works good. Good mpg with the CVT. There just not good in big trucks for towing. In passenger cars they are fine.
I had Honda HR-V test drive yesterday, it's a nice car, smaller SUV but feels much bigger than it actually is, good specs but the gear box auto sounds very weird,1.5 l engine petrol feels very slow when you try to join on motorway,it feel very sluggish on start but it's very comfortable to drive 🤷
wow very nice car n great review... d hands .. d touch ...d ..standards ..d class..d technology..d Machine ..d ....elegence ..d... power.... d ....arrow dynamics.......soul of Honda ..i felt it....wish i could own ds model
Taimany Ortiz it’s the same leaver you use to put the seats down with, pull the leaver up and push back and when I say a bit I really mean a bit it’s only like 10° or so but it makes a difference to me at least when I seat in the back.
you are still under new car effect...its underpowered trust me. i have 2002 model vtec and try this new one, still the same problem...i love it and hate it.
you could be true there.. i experienced underpower when switching to econ mode (but it's not that teribble XD). for me, the power delivery is ok when switching off the econ mode. i just hate the air cond vent configuration on the front passenger side. this new model is still fitted with vtec engine right? just with the new cvt gearbox i guess..
