Pro-Tip : if you unplug the handlebar light, it won't blind you when you have your rifle / anything on the front rack. plus it doesn't put enough light like your light bar does.

I just dont turn it on, I only run the LED light bar and it has strictly become a backup system if my light bar fails.

Great review MTN HUNTER. Good to see you back on the channel. Those Big Horns look fantastic. Good call keeping the stock size. I'm planning on keeping the stock size, as well... I'm close. I think your review just sealed the deal for me. I also really like the Kenda Bear Claws. They're a hair cheaper and lighter than the Maxxis and also get great feedback. Curious, I see you've got the sub transmission in low range. Do you run like that on most trails? I haven't used low much on mine...just when pulling a trailer or going down a steep incline. Good luck with the remainder of the deer hunt! Beautiful rifle also. Keep us posted.

Hey much appreciated great to be back, been busy with life and building our dream house! Yes no need to go any bigger the factory size is perfect. The Kenda Bear Claws are a good design and lighter but the extra weight and build quality of the bighorns are outstanding....especially thick sidewalls and tread depth....they are unparalleled in my opinion. We have another set that have been on our 01 Foreman for 8-10 years and they literally look almost new you would have to see it to believe it! I typically always run in low, my average speed on our trails are 7-13 mph, lots of steep hills, now it will go anywhere I want in D, but low gives me better down hill braking performance and control. I've not had to touch 4WD with these tires even in snow, its gives you a complete other level of confidence. The lighter weight tires when aired down roll when pushed in corners and hit the wheel when you encounter rocks and roots, same pressure air the Bighorns do not. It's like comparing a F-150 to a F-250!!

Good luck with hunting season I'm looking forward to our gun season opening next week. Almost went with those on my rubi but got the zillas instead. Been very happy with the zillas and they pull like crazy.

Tires look sick man! Did you keep the factory size? Or did you go bigger?
@mtnhunter5578
@mtnhunter5578 4 года назад
Yes they are factory size, absolutely no reason to go bigger they work amazing....really a day light and dark difference than the factory tires which I would say are pretty good.

Do you still run 4psi? I just but some 26 inch bighorn on my 2017 rancher. I put 7psi and it looks like they are flat.
@mtnhunter5578
@mtnhunter5578 3 года назад
Yes still running 4-5 with no issues, we have 2 hondas running the exact same tire and PSI for the last 3 years no issues. We do ride at low speeds...typically around 7-10 mph and not hitting corners hard. If you ride more aggressively you will want more PSI to keep the tire from rolling over and pushing.

Can you keep us updated on those tires with how they wear? Im thinking about putting them on my pioneer
@mtnhunter5578
@mtnhunter5578 4 года назад
Absolutely, we have a 2002 Foreman that has been running these tires for 8-10 years and they have worn amazing, you would have to see it to believe it!!

MTN HUNTER do they ride smooth out on the pavement?
@mtnhunter5578
@mtnhunter5578 3 года назад
@@dustybowhunter Yes however we typically only hit the pavement to change trails....farthest I have gone is probably two miles on the pavement at around 35-40 MPH, no issues.

How do they perform over branches and blackberry thorns etc do you worry about them popping
@mtnhunter5578
@mtnhunter5578 3 года назад
Never had an issue, I just point it and go, we have two ATV's running them and one side by side....never a single problem. One set has been on for over 6 years now and they work flawlessly, the only tire I will ever buy.
