The F-Pace is Jaguar's first move into the dominant crossover market, and quite the pretty one at that. Sharing a chassis with both the XE and XF, the F-Pace is designed more for on-road performance than off-road prowess. Our tester 'S' Model comes with the 380 HP version of Jaguar's Supercharged 3.0L V6, and for a vehicle of its size and weight, drives great!
Jaguar provided flight, hotel, meals, the test vehicle and insurance for this review.

These SUVs and cross-overs are the cars which make possible for manufacturers to make sports cars. Porsche wouldn't be where it is today without selling out to soccer moms with the Cayenne.

plus I found the Macan Turbo S fun to get to beat on. Sales guy at a dealership I've bought an Audi and a VW through insisted I try a 96k Macan that he knew damn well I can't buy. Encouraged me to run it hard. My wife is flailing about in the back telling the two of us that we're morons as I beat the thing pretty hard. Tell you, had I 96k at the bottom of my pocket that day I would've gotten that thing.

Seen this in person. Smaller than I thought, but it's really nice. This along with the Volvo XC90, and Mazda CX-9, are the best looking crossovers in the market.

That screen looks very touch-sensitive! I have never liked touch screen systems in cars because they have never been up to standard with say, smart phones (save Tesla). Do you think this one is getting close to touch screen phones and tablets?

While I do agree the warning it gave you when you were approaching fast that cyclist is a useful thing for some folk, I can't pass by that moment at around 10:45. What the fuck was that? Was it the correct action for it to take? Can't that get you into big trouble if it gets a false positive that it needs to intervene? I know it wouldn't try to get you back in your lane if there's an object in the way, but it still unsettles me to see this level of intrusiveness.

Can't wait to pick mine up in September, fully loaded 3.0s, reliability will be great I've had An f type s since 2013 no problems,,same engine in the new f pace, fully loadedF Pace is less than an entry level Range Rover Sport with no extras. a no brainier.

And everyone who is reading this please make aspen co a place to see in your lifetime because when you see it in person it is exactly as Matt said that it's extremely beautiful!!! Every time I go to aspen it makes me realize why some of the richest people in the world call aspen home. Also if you want to see some of the most expensive houses in the world come to aspen 😎

Test drove it last month and I really liked it, one of my favorite vehicles out there, almost Porsche-like. It is definitely a contender for my next vehicle. I probably wouldn't go over $65,000 either for one though.

I saw a dark blue F-Pace driving around northern Colorado just a couple of weeks ago. Didn't even know they were selling them yet. Maybe it was part of the Jaguar event?

Cooled seats are worth it if you can get it in ANY car. Its a massive upgrade over normal AC for long drives, it keeps you alert, and is super tunable to just you if you have hot/cold passengers.

I haven't had the chance to look at this car in person, but from what I've seen on camera there seems to be a lot of plastic inside.. Definitely wouldn't say this car is worth more than 60k I wonder how much of an issue depreciation will be

Yeah, I can't really comment on that one, never driven a Cayenne. To me, Porsche is a sports car company though, not a soccer mom SUV maker. Meh, to each their own I suppose, as long as they still keep making great sports cars, that's all that really matters.

+StuStuStuwart some people need a big car but don't want to sacrifice speed and the Jeep is a pretty good compromise. The fact that it can keep up with most sports cars under and around the 50000 dollar mark and still have space and practicality is quite amazing sure you might not be able to go off road but most people don't anyway.

S similarly equipped is only about $1,000 more than the base. I configured both ways. You get a lot more included with S. So mine cost $64,000 and has everything except heads up display and cold weather package (AZ). I now have 5K miles and no issues except the connectivity. Problem with Sim card from AT&T. Never has worked.

here in Canada a fully loaded F-Pace S Costs $83k before tax. you can buy a base Cayenne S, Loaded Base Cayenne or a Platinum Edition with some options. A Highly optioned Macan S, Optioned Macan GTS, or a base Macan Turbo.

I checked one out while on my new car day. I thought the lines on this thing were pretty nice. The interior wasn't too bad but way too small. In the end after checking out this, an X5 and a few other non competes I ended up getting the 2016 Jeep SRT. More room, Nice interior and 6.4L V8.
