@@BarrieCrampton Totally agree. It gives you not much extra fuel money in your pocket in return for completely knackering your starter motor, crank pulleys, crankshafts and so much more. You can actually hear the difference in sound at startup between a car that’s been hammered by start/stop and an identical one that has had it switched off/not used.

Stunning car, I had a XF Sportbrake once and it was a fine car, the only annoyance was having to use the touch screen for the heated seats.

yes that gets on my nerves too, the designers should be made to use all the switches with a blindfold, and if they fail, they should be shot ! bit controversial maybe but they are putting drivers and pedestrians lives at risk with some of the idiotic combinations of switch and touchscreen needed, just to warm your bum or switch the demister on

This is simply a stunning looking car from the front. Back end is a bit conservative however. This front look exudes sophistication that a BMW 5 series can't match. Merc and most others are even further behind. Pity the interior is not as stylish as the first generation XF. Jaguar finally improved the interior late 2020 in the face-lifted mk2 version, but you can't buy the car due to massive semiconductor IC demand and long lead time for parts.

Doesn’t seem right having the 2.0 diesel ingenium engine which seems to have a few problems with cam chains

Best to do the oil every year keeps the dpf cleaner...else £2000 to replace...

Hi James..yes what a beautiful car...I do have a xf..and it's amazing if you do get one you won't be sorry..do your homework and get full service history...you can't go far wrong..just a beautiful car..my only problem is I can't stop driving mine..great video thank you ..and good luck James.
