Lexus is my dream luxury car! I've already driven many Lexuses such as, ES350, 2011 ES350, GS350 F Sport, NX200t F Sport, 2016 RX350, IS350 F Sport. All I can say to Lexus is amazing to drive

Car seems super quiet. Not hearing any grainy engine sound early on. The GS is sportier than you think for a Lexus. The problem with the 4 cylinder is that any cost savings at purchase is simply lost at resale time. The cost savings isn't nearly enough to give up the 6 cylinder for.

My dad always wanted a Lexus, I hope I can get to buy one for him one day, but they are somewhat on the pricy side. I myself prefer Mercedes when it comes to interior and comfort.

Excellent review!! I have the 2014 GS 350 F Sport. The F Sport is too powerful for me. I may have to give the 200t a chance.

The 3.5 L is the way to go for a fairly heavy luxury midsize sedan. Smooth, lag-free power and yet still gets very decent fuel economy at 20/28. This 2.0 L turbo is a good choice for the lighter Lexus IS200t

Actually the nature of the 3.5 is that it's gutless till the revs get up. With a turbo engine, even a 4, you get max torque at very low rpm relative to a normally aspirated engine. Modern turbo engines have very little lag, especially twin scroll types. It will have less hp which means not as responsive at speed.

I have a 2017 IS200t F-Sport. It has more than enough power & is smooth & quiet, but want to eventually upgrade to a GS350 in the future. Previously drove a 2015 Camry XSE V6 & sometimes miss the smooth V6 sound.

You don't have to "find" the up and down arrows when scrolling through stations. There are dedicated up and down buttons right behind the controller. However, I will agree that some of the menus are distracting - voice commands help a lot there.

I mentioned that. The buttons still aren't great, it only clicks 5 stations at a time. A touch screen system or rotary knob system does much better under those conditions. You know what would work great? If the little Lexus mouse thing had a scroll wheel like a real mouse.

I heard that with some cameras you can adjust the frequency in order to remove that flickering

This is compares more to BMW 528 or a E class not a c class nor a 3 series

It's a pretty mediocre engine, it's clear it's their first turbo. Turbolag, mediocre power delivery, very high fuel consumption. You're very unlikely to hit 25mpg, usually it's around 16mpg in the city and up to 23mpg on a highway. That's Audi A6 3.0 TFSI level. Or even worse...
