They're not a legit K-pop band. I don't think they should be lumped into that. They're way too good for the industry. There is no group doing what they're doing. But sadly there under a huge label that doesn't benefit them. Also side note, I think it's actually incredibly smart of Day6 to do cover songs for big performances like this. It's a really good way to get your audience engaged, since their music isn't really atypical, in contrast to K-pop music. Very few artists are that self aware. I would have liked to see a cover then their own song, but honestly it's a big deal that they even got a stage. I didn't think the snakes at MAMA would allow it.

I barely know Day6 I only know three of their songs but this is off. They seem to be great performers and just from the little bit of vocals in the beginning I can tell they are fantastic. Plus they are playing the whole song and it sounds incredible. They do deserve so much more.

Hyukoh is the name of the band, I suggest you check 'em out as well (They're awesome as hell). I love both bands to death but Day6 really deserved to at least perform their own song.

Altough i wished for day6 better too let's be real. Got7 and Day6 aren't that huge in korea so this solution was perfect and i think it's fair that they sang a got7 song since theyve been longer here. i think this was a good opportunity for both of the bands to get promoted more
