Rick. In my owners manual it says I can bring up a compass icon on the 7inch screen. I have the touring 2017 so I would imagine there is a way to do this. Can you help me find out how to place a compass on the screen by the clock please?

Rick Kruger I have a 2018 CRV Touring. It seems there are only 12 Sirius presets, but read somewhere that you can somehow store multiple stations to each preset? I'm a Land Rover salesperson but recently picked up a 2017 Accord EX-L V6 without nav. I gave the sales person a lot of slack in the demo and delivery but need to know why my voice recognition only works with phone only (Not radio or climate). The on screen tags aren't there either. I understand nav not being there. Was my car not set up properly in pdi?

@@btran213 That's because the CR-V does not come standard with the back up sensors. Unless you added it as an accessory when you purchased it. If so, your salesman will have to show you how to turn the beeper sound on / off. How do you like it so far?? Did you get the Touring model??

Kevin Choxom The programming of the keys is for the door locks for key number one or key number two and also to have the memory seat go to that drivers pre-set position.

I like the fact that there is no CD player, old technology, just like I don't need a cassette player in the car anymore. Looking forward to seeing your CarPlay video. When you make that video, it would be good to see how to add an app like Spotify or Waze.
When I purchased my car, the navigation showed cross streets at the top; however, after the dealership set everything up, it only shows the road I am driving on unless i have a destination selected in navigation. How can I get it to show the cross streets again? I liked that feature but the dealership said they can't help me.
I purchased a 2017 CRV EX - I have Sirius XM radio. When I connect my iphone to Apple car play it switches the Sirius XM radio to another radio system. Am I able to play Sirius XM radio while being connected to Apple car play?
Piyush Dhorajia You can only adjust the volume of the navigation system when the system is given a command. Once it stops, it goes back to the radio volume.

In addition to Rick's reply, there is a way to order the complete manual PRINTED as well. I seem to recall the instructions are in the abbreviated printed manual that the dealer should have supplied to you.
bright2069 Thanks for your question. You do or think of sex same way as setting a preset for FM or a.m. Turn it to the station you want, then press and hold the preset number button you wish it to be for. After the beep you're all set.

Actually the LX is the only trim level that does not have the touch screen. The EX, EXL and Touring does. Where do you live? I can ship anywhere in the US.
Rick Kruger according to Honda's website they advertise the LX models to come with the android auto and apple car play, even the LX 2wd version. I'm in Toronto Canada perhaps the Canadian and American ones are different? Do you ship to Canada

Impresos Grafikos Thanks for your question. You must have an Android phone in which you can use Waze with Android Auto. I have an iPhone so I am familiar with Waze. IOS does not get it until the next upgrade this Fall and then can use in AppleCar Play.

Hello.... You have to down load 'Android Auto' from the Google Play Store. Then follow the instructions on your phone. ....yes, iPhone is much easier - 'plug N play.'

Hi Honda Rick, We just bought a 2018 Honda CR-V on June 8,2018 and the Apple car Play works for 1-2 weeks then it doesn't work and I get a message on the screen to check the USB/port. I've gone through 4 chargers and it works for a few days then that message comes back to check the USB port connection. Is this a Honda problem or can I fix it ? Thanks !
Jeannie Pascuzzi Are you using an iPhone 7 or newer? Also, (I'm sure you are) using an original apple cable. Others will charge, but not transfers the data. Also power down your phone, and power back up. Check for update in settings. ....let me know how it is in a few days. If, still an issue, see your salesman before going to service. Qasim Saeed Pretty simple.... Go to settings, click on phone, open blue tooth on your phone and put it in Discovery mode, have the CR-V search for your phone, click on your phone in the list, hit pair on your phone... 😃👌🏼

Audoyn Villegas - I bought a EL a few weeks ago and have been using my iPhone 7 with CarPlay to navigate and it’s working quite well. The 7” display mirrors my phone screen and is touch sensitive at least somewhat. It still takes some learning how to change a routing etc. Some of my other Apple apps work through the car link connection. Apple has a list of which ones are compatible on their website.
The title of the video says that this is for 2018 CR-V models, but it is for 2017. Things were changed in 2018. Shame on you. Also you show how to scroll to AWD icon, but do not explain how to check that AWD is on or off. This is important since the vehicle gets better MPG when AWD is off.
Actually the 2017 - 2022 screen is the same on the CR-V Touring. On ANY CR-V ever made, there has never been a 'switch' to go from FWD to AWD. On a Honda CR-V, it will intelligently transfer a percentage of tourque to the rear wheels as needed, back and forth, so yes you still get great MPG but have the AWD if and when needed automatically. 👍🏽
