Saw the Runaways in 1976 at a saloon with a stage called Randys Rodeo a country bar in Texas .It was the first girl rock band to perform there.Lita with that long blond hair jamming those strings. Will never forget.Still doing it and still look in great.
I was a lita wannabe back in highschool in the late eighties and after all these years she has remained ageless a true rock legend and still going strong!!
Have loved her since 1983. Shoulda seen the poster I had of her in her black leather with her Black Widow Guitar. She is still so hot!! 🔥❤️🔥👊 Love ya Lita!!! 🤟
I met Lita when I won backstage passes to her concert back in the late eighties. A buddy and I were both college students at the time. I wouldn’t have really been surprised if she had big-timed us, but she didn’t. She was really nice to us asking if we wanted food or anything to drink. I’ll always remember how cool she was to us.
deyoungs brother was at a wedding i was at , he sang n went to the reception , didnt talk to him , nice guy , talked to someone who played with joplin, nice guy
Mmm, not so sure. She is a great player & The Runaways were amazing, but her solo stuff was always super cheesy, synth laden, overproduced pop metal. It was a shame too because she definitely prefers to play less less fluffy stuff, but that genre accepted her & I fear that she always felt she had to stick with it.
A goddess on guitar! Lita you had my heart then and you still have it now. Dancing on the edge is such a great album and it's exactly how we were living back then! So many memories come back when I hear any of your tunes, in short you are a part of the soundtrack of my youth and I thank you for that. Love me some Lita
Lita, I havent talked to you in 20 years but im beyond words in telling you you were gorgeous back then and even more so now. Rock it baby, you're absolutely the best...........Brad
She has been my idol since I was 10 and I got to meet her a few times and she is such a sweet person. People say never meet your idols, but I've been so fucking lucky becauee I've gotten to meet both Lita and Meat Loaf several times and they both were so fucking awesome.
Unfortunately one of the truly great guitarists is no longer with us, Jan Kuehnemunde of Vixen was a guitarist who did not get the recognition she deserved.
@@calebproductions5970 Idiot! She has some children and She is a definate Woman! I am an admirer of her since the runaways! You must be saying this for attention! Fool!
IDK why Lita wasn't more well known, mainstream, if you will ala' Joan Jett. They both were/are great musicians, rock vocalists, very talented women, and both attractive (hey,it doesn't hurt).Maybe it was the record labels behind them, song choices, writers, timing and basic fate? As I said,Lita and Joan had in spades the talent necessary.Yet,I can name many Joan Jett tracks, yet with Lita 3,4. What do you think the reason could be? Curious what others think
