The Nashville Predators pulled off a historic series sweep over the Chicago Blackhawks, becoming the 2nd team to ever sweep the top seeded team in their conference in 4 games. Pekka Rinne was the star of the show, with clutch goals by Forsberg and Fiala helping move the Preds into the 2nd round of postseason play.
