The New York Rangers defeated the Montreal Canadiens in six games. After falling behind two games to one, the Rangers managed to win three in a row to finish the series in New York, thanks in large part to great goaltending by Henrik Lundqvist. The Rangers advance to the second round where they will face the Ottawa Senators.
