We had the pleasure of taking John’s MY17 STi to the next level making it Twisted!
Previously Flexed up by us on the Cobb platform with factory turbo making around 230KW on E85, John wanted more power and was originally going to upgrade to our Blouch Turbo package with all the bolt ons. But, after taking into consideration the upgraded parts needed and knowing his future plans for his STi to be in the 400KW club, we knew going rotated now was the way… plus a Rotated setup looks killer!
Already equipped with an upgraded fuel system, Team Throttle Therapy installed an Aeroflow B5455.82 turbo & GIR by Invidia twist kit with GFB EWG and PSR UEL Headers, Cobb FMIC kit and Fuel Pressure sensor, Killer B Coolant top tank, an IAG AOS, and a CSF Radiator in Black.
We then got our friends at Dahtone Racing to fabricate an intake and charge pipe kit to finish off the package.
We tuned it up on the Cobb platform with full time Speed Density this time round to make 233KW on 98ron fuel, and 278KW on e85 running 20psi of boost conservatively. John took the car for a spin and was blown away with the performance! He’s going to enjoy it until he returns for a built motor where we will be turning it up!
