I am an old retired guy, leasing a 2017 LE, and I too like the big knobs and buttons. The 2018 model has more standard safety features, but I do not like what Toyota did to the interior when they gave the Camry the makeover.
I feel the same way. Exactly. Besides that. I believe the transmission is a 8 or 9 speed or something. Prefer sickspeed. Is there a quicker?. Hate Barb 17 Toyota van on its acceleration. Besides the stupid button layout. Anyway might be buying a 17 Camry.. because I don't like the new button stuff besides that transmission on the newer cameras
I bought a (27100) mile 2017. Black LE. So far. I'm extremely happy. It's my first Toyota. Hopefully I amazing luck with it. I spent 3 months searching for the perfect LE. I think I found it
@@Sammydx1 good deal, did you buy it from a dealer or from a person. I found one for $15k from a dealer but that's before tax, how do you think I can negotiate to lower the price
Spectacular Review Man! Indepth and impartial. Practical review for buyers and car enthusiasts - and you definitely delivered. I'm an aspiring Camry owner, but equally compelled by the Accord's well matched offerings!
This thing is peppy af wtf lol... I rented a 2016 Camry LE while my car was at a shop & it felt peppier than my 2011 V6 Accord. Sure had fun with it lol
I kind of still prefer this gen Camry over the current one. I had a 2015 XSE V6 that I bought new in 2015. My brother bought the car three years ago as I upgraded first to a 2017 Lexus IS200t F-Sport & now a 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport that I bought last year. My parents have a 2017 XLE 4-cylinder that they bought new in 2016 that I recommended, now with about 50k miles with no problems so far as expected.
First day I owned this car I went to the store and after I got back someone keyed all over my hood and entire driver side. Never happened with my ford...that broke down...
Ghost Rider62 I’ve ordered professional spray paint from www.automotivetouchup.com I’ll be repainting everything as the scratch is actually into the metal as well.
The news is I traded this in and got a 2019 Rav4 XLE with midnight black, fiber optic led taillights, LED headlights, fog lights, windows tinted with AWD, Pre collision, lane assist with BSM, steel rims and a dual exhaust. It’s pretty cool. The guy at Toyota told me Camrys don’t hold value at all. Once you drive them you lose like 40% of the value.
I don't appreciate you deleting my other comment. I was trying to respectfully point out the fact that you cannot fool 35,000 people. This is NOT a 2017 Camry! Just admit it, and stop being disrespectful to your loyal subscribers!!
Nice Review C! I have a 16 XLE Hybrid Camry. The interior does improve greatly over the LE and the fuel economy averages over 43 for me. I am suprised that the 17 is not a redesign for sure. Maybe the 18 will be the redesign.
I would like to point out that this is actually a 2016 Camry...regardless of what the title says. The fuel economy did change according to epa. it lost 2 mpg. this video didn't quote that bc it is a 16 branded as a 17 model year just to get more views
Hey Cameron. Just wanted to clear up a few things. I've been seeing all these comments about the 2017 Camry and how this car is actually a 2016. You said there were not any changes for 2017 besides trim equipment. That would be wrong. As a GM at TMMK in Georgetown KY the fuel economy for 2017's is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced from the 2016's. I just wanted to point that out for future customers that might have been misled by this video. Thanks, and I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't remove my comment.
+brorowcarwiz Dude there is plenty of evidence why this is not a 2017. First of all it is clearly a rental car with 10,860 miles (not possible on something just released). Next he quotes the fuel economy for a 2016 when the MPG actually changed for 2017 (5:06). Finally, when the review was first posted there we no 2017 Camry's in California (because as mentioned above it was only just starting to be shipped). It is very unfortunate that he chose to lie about this.
I honestly am not a big fan of the Camry because you can get way more for cheaper with the accord. Good review Cam. I'm starting to work on my channel thanks to your inspiration! :) #1fan #1supporter
Oh, is that molded stitching? Not real stitching?. That was my concern when this new model came out a couple years ago. That stitching come out / get loose and look bad. Deciding on a 17 this next week. Interesting
That's what I was thinking after researching and stuff. We got a deal a locked in for a 17 this week.. It seems to be he better car in a few ways. Don't like the buttons / electronic controls and the newer one. And the transmission being higher speed I'm not big on. My 05 Camry has been awesome. Oldest daughter's driving it so thought about it RAV4 or another Camry.. I came down to this 1617 model Camry.
+Brenden A I'm not mad, it's just that I wish Cameron would stop making so many Toyotas. they are everywhere, unexciting and bland. he's should do Porsches and Mercedes instead of a stupid Camry. I see 150 on the way to work each morning
Porsches and Mercedes aren't as reliable as toyota and even less reliable than lexus, according to consumer reports. Don't get me wrong, I love mercedes and porsche, but the facts don't lie.
