That was one of his best performances of this song - Jensen actually put some more improv originality around the bridge to the end section. This. Was. Awesome!
He looked a little shocked by the crowd when he first walked on but man, this has got to be the most at ease and free performance I've seen from him. I think it's also the first time he didn't leave during the guitar solo part too. I am praying with all my might that he will finally sing at NJcon. I've never heard him sing before and I know I would just be blown away.
How did anyone in the audience survive this? I've watched this video 10 times already and my heart's still beating way too fast and I'm overcome with excitement and happiness by how amazing Jensen is!!! He totally owns that stage! What a mind-blowing performance!
His confidence has sky rocketed so much on stage since he anxiously sang the Weight... Look at him, he's prowling across that stage. At some point, he stopped "pretending to be a rock star for the fans," and now he's living the dream. I just hope there's no truth to the words he's singing with such fervor here.

I'm a woman of 49 years old way way back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth and auto tune didn't exist. You know the late 1980s I went to a lot of concerts and saw a lot of talented bands. They did this thing like Jensen and Louden Swain did here were they performed live without a backing track or lip sync. Is every note perfect? No (damn close) but it doesn't have to be because it's sung with passion and presents. I didn't realize how much I missed authentic live band performances until watching this. Thank you for posted this Jensen is an amazingly talented man and a gifted performer. Much love to Louden Swain who are amazing. I said amazing a lot. lol
God bless Jensen. He gives us so much on set and then at these conventions. Like you can just tell he was giving that performance all he had. Ugh, I love the whole cast; they're amazing.
