Just thought I'd upload high-quality video on my 2017 GLI muffler delete. This is just a start up with some low revs. Hopefully this gives you guys an idea of how yours could sound. I think it sounds great, but not loud enough! I'll definitely be doing more videos on it in the future as well as any future VW purchases.

I just did my muffler delete and left the resonator but car is even quieter. Any thoughts?

Hey! Honestly that’s really odd, as that would be very counter intuitive. In my experience the resonator needs to come off as well to really open it up. I just did the same to my new GTI and it really opens up the car.

@@ThetinytimFTW yeah I honestly thought just deleting the muffler that would do it like it has on my other cars lol… how’s the drone with both of them deleted?

You did both mufflers and resonator? Or just both mufflers?

Was it just the rear muffler that was deleted?? You had nothing els done to the car at the time?

Nothing at all. Just muffler and resonator delete.

Appreciate it! It unfortunately was totaled in an accident, then bought back, now it's sitting. I've moved on to a Mk8 GTI

@@ThetinytimFTW can you read my message idk if it was very droning inside like I’m trying to find a video how it sounds inside I don’t really want my gli loud like I did had on 2.5se I know there’s difference becasue it’s a 2 different motor but I was just asking if it sounds very loud like I wanted Minimum not that loud 😅

How did the car sound under acceleration with just the muffler delete not to loud? Did it drone?

@@MyTman12 It really isn't too bad man. Unless you step on it, it's very reserved. I'd say between 2k-3k rpm is loudest. You get a SLIGHT drone at 70-80mph but it is not bad at all!

You removed both mufflers and cat converter or did you leave the cat there?

just mufflers! Didnt decide if i wanted to hold onto it or not at the time, so decided to just stop at a muffler delete. Cat's are still there, no lights on dash
